I live not to far from eufaula lake, I noodle north canadian river, We have caught several 40 to 60 pound fish from it. I don't catch them that early in the river though. I really enjoyed your video. I noodle alot like you do

pull him out of the hole, Most people lose big fish by taking them out without a stringer on first. I have a two sons that go with me, my 12 year old son has already caught fish in the 20's He loves it.

nice cat I live up in kingfisher I'm 19 and have been handfishing since I was about seven that one looks like it ways about 40 somthin so how much did it way the biggest I have ever caught was 48 out of a large pond but me and my cousins normally only fish the to major creeks that run through town kingfisher and uncle john's I have always wanted to fish the lakes it seems like there are more and bigger fish in them, also I am tracin the roots of each noodler i meet how did you start.

I have a stupid question... I've been watching a bunch of noodling videos and people always bear-hug these huge catfish... Don't the bones of the pectoral fins poke you when you do that? I've always been really cautious handling cats because of the "horns" (sharp bones of the pectoral fins). Are they not an issue with the real giant ones or what?
