  • Imagine a life without motorcycles. Man that would suck.

  • Really missed a few major facts on the scooters. Vespas landed on US shores in the early 50's, not 60's and they are not easy automatic transmissions, they are a manual transmission with 3 or 4 gears and clutch located on the left handlebar grip. Makes me a little speculative on all the other "facts" stated in this program. Good visuals though, and I didn't see anything wrong with the facts for motorcycles at first glance.

  • Thanks for a kind word on British bikes, there was some thing very special but it was not reliability. I had a Royal Enfield; I reckon I pushed it as often as road it !!! None the less I loved it.

  • I am proud to say that my Dad, Bobby Sirkegian, is the 14 year old boy on that Triumph @ 5:00 racing the hot rod in the Art Baker's You Asked For It TV show. I am trying very hard to find the whole TV show that was in because Art Baker interviews my Dad. Thanks so much for posting this! It is also a bit of my family's history, too :-)

  • @avalemert no way....really???

  • @billyzoom77 - Yep! He was and will always be THE youngest AMA Grand National M/C Dragbike Champion, 1953 at age 12. He was also the youngest to go pro and one of the last to race on the sands of Daytona :-)
