@Deebemc I know what you're saying, and I agree with you, BUT, he's first of all an entertainer. His first objective is to give people a good time, and a lot of these people are non-musicians. His tricks and skills are insanely impressive, but they wear off quickly. But for entertainment purposes they work.

One of the things I love about Tommy is that he gives nods to the originators while taking the music another step in Tommy's direction. That's true musicianship and Tommy is the King of it :)

since I live here in Germany i have to pay a lot for one... and I have not one shop near us in a 200 km range to check them out. some prefer the 808 some go for TE 1 or 2, some get the 325. I have not 3000 EUR for a guitar..soooo... i guess i ll maybe get the 325. any suggestions?

@TheReilly8 Are you for real? Name me one other guitar player, apart from Chet Atkins, who can play like that. No pedals, no electronic effects, just a guitar, amp & a mountain of talent. Tommy & his brother, Phil, have lived & breathed guitars since they were born. I'm old enough to know & remember some of the people who "discovered" the Emmanuel Brothers, in a little country town, in New South Wales, before they even hit their teens. Part of a traveling country music act with their parents.

@trikey52 my wife sent suprised me on my b day with a plane ticket to minnesota (from calgary) to go see TE ....it is a bucket list worthy experience for real man...that and going to see roger waters, i would recommend that to if you get a chance. TE is so amazing live...he is just so cocky but you can be when you own the guitar and the guitar owns you.
