  • yes you can use a sewing machine! its called a basteing stitch, its a very loose stitch which can be pulled to make ruffles and gathers

  • that water sound made me wanna pee ! xD

  • i do not have have super glue gun...can i use super glue?

  • Cant you just use glue instead of sowing?

  • Really great tutorial! I followed along with you and made one while I watched the video. Super cute.

  • I now have my own bow making shop on Etsy! It's called SweetMaddieMarie

  • Thank you for the tips!

  • thanks so much, this has made this so easy to understand :)

  • Can you use a sewing machine? or will it sortra ruin it.. is hot glue ok too?

  • @vintageflowerlove147 You cannot use a sewing machine for this, because when you use a sewing machine, you can't pull the stitching. You need to be able to pull it to make the bow shape. Same with hot glue. I think hand sewing is the only way that works.

But if you try it with a sewing machine or glue, tell me how it goes!

  • @vintageflowerlove147 yes you could when i used hot glue it came out good

  • nice

  • Could you use fabric glue?

  • @tirnaiscazzy I've never tried it. But if you do, tell me how it goes(:

  • @EcoChic66 okay i just need to buy fabric glue!

  • Thanks a lot! The bow that I made really turned out nice....

  • @icicee7 well you could put hairspray on the edges. I do it on bows tht I buy or whtev and it works!!

  • Great Tutorial !!

YAY THANK YOU FOR TEACHING ME I WILL GIVE YOU CREDIT I WILL SEND IT TO YOU AFTER I MAKE A BOW YAY YAY YAY

  • This was awesome thank uuuu!!!!! Im really looking forward to how my bow will turn out now that i wached it thk uuu!!!

  • this was so helpful! great video! thank you!!! (:: (::

  • any tips on how to prevent the fabric from fraying? if u heat sealed it would it catch on fire... ill just have to find out ;P

  • @icicee7 I think it depends on the fabric on whether or not heat sealing would work .

You could put nail polish along the edges , or iron them in before you make the bow .

  • @icicee7 yes there is you have to pass a lighter on the edge of the cloth so it wont fray ;) you are welcome

  • you real need a hot glue gun not tape it or what ever she is doing lol

  • this was really helpful, thanks!

  • So easy i did it mine by my own how easy and cute original by the way

  • Thank you so much for the video. It was really helpful :)

  • if i wanted 2 make it a clip would i just glue a aligator clip on the back?

  • @xXVerryxCherryXx Yes . You could also slip it through the middle part at the back . (The part you wrapped around the middle of the bow) But gluing it would be a more permanent option .

  • wow so cool

  • OMG I seriously need to know do u get these ideas from a book or something or ur brain! Either way u r very smart! :D

  • @lpslover28 Books, my mom, my grandma ... my mind .

    Thank you . (:

  • I actually think the ragged edges look cute! Nice finished edges would look great, too ~ but the unfinished edges have character.. good job! I am definitely going to make some fabric bows~ you made it look very easy ;) Some fabrics will even melt like ribbon, so you could try just heat sealing the edges that show with a lighter so they dont overfray.

  • @katiebona Thank you ! (:

Good idea ... Do you by any chance know what types of fabric melt ?

  • @EcoChic66 hmm. probably fabrics more like nylon or acrylic. You could always cut your edges with really sharp scissors then use FrayCheck seal the edges and that will work with any kind of fabric. It'll still look like an unfinished edge, but it wont fray!

  • @katiebona Thank you . (:

  • @dejataneriajasmine You're the second Jasmine to comment on it ! Bahah . (:

  • Great job on the tut ! ;)

  • @littlebirdie2 Thanks . (:

  • @giantglory1996 Good idea . But sadly , my sewing machine hates me & NEVER works properly . It won't let me sew anything . In the old video , I did show a way to smooth down the sides , which is ironing the sides in a bit . It just got confusing , so in this video I skipped that step .

When my sewing machine gets fixed , i'll try your idea & add an annotation or something if it's better . (:

  • aaaaaaaaaawww

    super easy fun lovly cuteeeee

    speechless

    mwahhh

  • Could I use a hot glue gun instead of sewing it? :3

  • @ohyeahdiamond Yes you can . I just tried it , & I put instructions on how to do it in the description .

  • @jasiichacon3 With ribbon or fabric .. ?

  • @jasiichacon3 Yes , ahah . My name is Jasmine . (:
