  • just beatiful...

  • vay anam vay neler dönmüş serhat ya...

  • Beautiful Music

  • Very cool! I like it! ideal sound!

  • an absolute new sound experience....

  • wow

please more turkish songs with her

  • i've never heard this song before, but i am convinced that this is the way to perform it.

  • Beautiful, simply beautiful!

  • she's so wonderful!

  • the music is beautiful! but i just cant wait until she sings again, she really suits the music!

  • Beautiful... Speechless... Definitely a goddess! I could listen to her for hours, and I don't even know what her words mean.

  • wtf Amazing

  • stupefacente

  • Maybe my eye sight really sucks or I'm color blind, but it seems to me that her harp strings aren't colored. Every harp I've ever seen has red strings for C, and either black, blue, or green for the F string. Hers all look white. If they are that way, her harp is harder to play and her skill on the harp just skyrocketed.

And I love this song by the way.

  • Her live performances always sound so powerful. You'd swear you were listening to a mastered CD.

  • so turkish lover "

  • * first four lines*

yarim gitti çeşmeye ( my love went to the fountain (water) )

yaralarim deşmeye ( to deepen my wounds )* wound from his love*

elinden su içmeye ( just to drink that water from your hands)

  • Beatiful music and band but her pronunciation is pretty bad. Please do not be offended. it is just a fact. I really like arrangement and music.

  • @acibik everything is just perfect about all her music except the accent, that's just the one flaw that she can never get rid of in any language.

  • sound a cigan major, i made a suite with this scale

  • @Gr8SriLankans It is in Turkish

  • @Gr8SriLankans It's Turkish :) Her pronunciation is not perfect, but really cute :) I really love Cécile Corbel's singing. She's wonderful.

  • @shamanilgin Can't agree with you as to the singing, but I love her playing and the song itself.

  • beautiful harp!

  • bravo cécile et à cet été en bretagne

  • Lovely!!!

  • Beaucoup d'émotion, de charme, de qualité, bravo !

  • Thanks first to Cecile - c'est magnifique!

And also to lalamami and metrogold, for the lyrics. Merci beaucoup, from Canada!

  • Lyrics are kind of hard to translate but they are like:

My sweetheart went to the fountain,

    Just to hurt my wounds,

Whatever I have, I would give all

Just to drink some water from her hands

  • yarım gitti çeşmeye yar yar yar aman

yaralarım deşmeye yar yar yar aman

neyim varsa vereyim yar yar yar aman

elinden su içmeye yar yar yar aman

  • Awesome !

  • Bonjour,

Puis-je trouver cette musique sur un album de Cecile Corbel ou autre ?

    Merci à vous,

    Cordialement .

    Pierre L .

  • does anybody knows, where i can get these lyrics?

  • she has amazing hands *quite a bit jealous...*

and the song is really nice :) (I'd looove to be able to play the harp like that ;))

  • Its a nice turkish folk music. congragulations. You are great. But nobody knows you in Turkey.you should come and bless us.

  • superbe chanson jai beaucoup aimé

  • WONDERFUL! continue ma chère! c tres bo!

  • Fabulous and mysterious sounds

    Ruby Paul- Forbidden Fruit,

    singer, harpist and entertainer

    Love Ruby

  • b-e-a-u-tiful

  • Beautifu!

  • j aime vraiment cette chanson Cecile :)

  • That was excellent!

I couldn't help chuckle when the vocals came in though, hehe, something amusing about the way she looks and sounds when doing the singing parts in this.

I have to say though, I am impressed

  • I'm wondering about the sound when she knocks on the harps sounding board. It doesn't sound like that in real..

  • maybe there's a hidden microphone near it

  • Not only is the song beautifully arranged and performed but watching Cécile's hands while she plays is a treat in itself. It's like she's magically pulling the notes out of the air....

  • this doesnt sound like a turkish song that much

i thought it was gypsy music or something

but it sounds excellent either way

  • In wich disc of Cecile corbel is this song?

  • Nice to come back to this one - lovely sounds and recording. Powerful and wonderful.

  • Turkish song??

  • Excelente

  • Its just pure magic, especially after bottle of wine.

  • exelent

  • does anyone have the sheet music for the celtic harp?

  • beautiful.... just beautiful

    loved it

  • Une artiste.

Je l'ai entendue lors d'un concert dans les ruines de Landévennec en Bretagne: Exceptionnel!!!

  • OMG....she is a goddess....and an exceptional talent! An angel, and a wonderful example of what is wonderful in this world. Thanks so much! Love, Michael

  • Yarim gitti çeþmeye (Yar yar yar aman)

Yaralarým deþmeye (Yar yar yar aman)

Neyitn varsa vereyim (Yar yar yar aman)

Elinden su içmeye (Yar yar yar aman)

  • Do you know what it means???

  • I don't know turkis, but you can find the translation in the comments of this video.^^(praskovia)

Yarim gitti cesmeye --my love has gone to the fountain

Yaralarim desmeye -- to tear up my wounds

Neyim varsa vereyim- I would give anything I have

Elinden su icmeye- to drink water from his hands

Yarimin gelisine- for the way he is coming,

Mailim gulusune- I am overcome with admiration for his smile

Deli olacagim ben- I am going to lose my mind

Ben dusune dusune- from thinking and thinking

  • Yar yuzunu goreyim- love, let me see your face

Bir canim var vereyim- I have one life, let me give/sacrifise it

Saclarinin telinden- from the strands of your hair

Basima tac oreyim- let me braid a coronet

  • But it seems she sings only the four first sentences.^^

  • Wonderful mode and lovely blend of sounds. I think the harp goes so well with sustained sounds - so the cello and the singing go so well with your playing. Thanks for uploading this!

  • I've never heard anything like this before!

  • Damn... virtuosity.

  • Cecile, you are great ! - But with this song you are topping yourself !!!!

    What a wonderful combination !!

One of the most beautiful songs i ever heard !!

  • Incantevole, brava!

  • nice...

  • stesse zitta sarebbe meglio

  • Unusual modes on harp?

I think Tara Jaff plays some in her Kurdish harp videos.

  • Very intresting and of course amazing piece!!!

I have never before heard this combination of instruments in a Eastern acpect,a celtic harp playing fregian-ionian scales.

  • Loreena McKennitt does things like that in her music. Combining Celtic with other types of music, including Turkish influences.

  • harika***

  • Who knows turkish? Who can post lyrics of this song and translate?

    This lady is awesome !

  • Brilliant!

  • Another enjoyable piece Cecile. It had flavours of several places to me...India, the Orient and also a certain flamenco sound. Loved it.
