In the past eight months, TSA has been plagued by reports of agent thefts, sex crimes, assaults, drug trafficking, security breaches, drug use and dereliction of duty. Over sixty screeners have been implicated in that brief time without one notable success to offset this abysmal record. There needs to be a formal investigation of TSA and a Grand Jury empaneled to determine the depth and corruption and mismanagement within the agency.
An ABC investigation into “underwear bomber” incident concluded that human is physically incapable of concealing enough explosive to bring down an airliner. It is disturbing that TSA continues to focus on passengers while allowing 60% of cargo on airliners to go unscreened and remaining oblivious to threat of a ground based attack. And STILL we allow the TSA to abuse our rights.
Too bad my Frequent Flyer Miles don't also cover Cancer Screenings, with all this radiation exposure every time I want to travel, I'll need frequent flyer cancer screenings to check for malignant lumps or unusual lymph activity.

I get in the body scanning machine, then they tell me that an "anomally" showed up on the scan (in my underwear no less), two women escort me to a curtained off area, I put my arms out and my palms up, and they pat me down all over. Normally, I'd have to pay up to $100 for a massage therapist to do this. But the TSA does it for free! And afterwards, my skin feels all tingly and my sexual areas feel alive. Thanks TSA..
There is no need for security because no one on any plane actually trusts anyone else on the plane. Stand up and stretch you got ten rows of people looking at you, scratch an inappropriate area and you get scowls galore, go to the bathroom longer than five minutes and eyes begin to bore holes through the door. Anyone foolish enough to sneeze at the wrong time will get four boots to the head and grannies purse as well. Its the cargo area I worry about.

I don't recommend removing security - I recommend that we use security methods that work. I suggest you move to another country - you are about as un American as possible. In the past eight months, TSA has been plagued by reports of agent thefts, sex crimes, assaults, drug trafficking, security breaches, drug use and dereliction of duty. Over sixty screeners have been implicated in that brief time without one notable success to offset this abysmal record. There needs to be a formal investigation of TSA and a Grand Jury empaneled to determine the depth and corruption and mismanagement within the agency.

An ABC investigation into “underwear bomber” incident concluded that human is physically incapable of concealing enough explosive to bring down an airliner. It is disturbing that TSA continues to focus on passengers while allowing 60% of cargo on airliners to go unscreened and remaining oblivious to threat of a ground based attack. Too bad my Frequent Flyer Miles don't also cover Cancer Screenings, with all this radiation exposure every time I want to travel, I'll need frequent flyer cancer screenings to check for malignant lumps or unusual lymph activity.
I wonder if the Federal Govt will admit responsibility for all the premature deaths being caused by X-ray over-exposure?
They say it's about the same radiation exposure as a typical mammography or dental X-ray, somehow I'm still not at ease with anything the TSA claims.

I sometimes wonder "what's his exit strategy in all this". He should think about at some point, even if that's 10 years from now, just retiring. It's too stressful. I rather enjoy my weekly pat downs by the TSA. I get in the body scanning machine, then they tell me that an "anomally" showed up on the scan (in my underwear no less), two women escort me to a curtained off area, I put my arms out and my palms up, and they pat me down all over. Normally, I'd have to pay up to $100 for a massage therapist to do this. But the TSA does it for free! And afterwards, my skin feels all tingly and my sexual areas feel alive. Thanks TSA..

There is no need for security because no one on any plane actually trusts anyone else on the plane. Stand up and stretch you got ten rows of people looking at you, scratch an inappropriate area and you get scowls galore, go to the bathroom longer than five minutes and eyes begin to bore holes through the door. Anyone foolish enough to sneeze at the wrong time will get four boots to the head and grannies purse as well. Its the cargo area I worry about.

TSA techniques do NOTHING to prevent hijacking of aircraft by implanted nor remote takeover of autopilot.
In contrast, metal detectors and informed passengers ALONE prevent another 9/11. NONE of the additional security groping protects buildings or stadiums on the ground from use of an aircraft as a missile -- and are a public health hazard and flagrantly unconstitutional.
Without TSA, FLYING already remains the safest form of travel as it is... so leave American quality of life intact!
