And in fable 2 you meet Theresa more, I think she is interesting. And a perfect hero guide. In fable 3 you only meet her in "the road to rule" kinda.. And fable 2 have more wepons and gunz. Sure it's cool that the wepons can change depending on how you play the game. But i like variations, be able to have many differently kinds of wepons and clothes! Speakin' of clothes fable 3 have ridiculously less clothes than fable 2 it's not like the same style anymore! I know it's 100 years later but still
I think that Fable 2 was the best one, Fable 3 was a fun! And why have fable 3 less spells and why did they take away the "Will lines"? That really sucks! Im not saying fable 3 sucks, in that game you can really hug and touch people. fable was great! fable 2 was even better! fable 3 stayed true to the series' story for the most part but in the end, I was left unsure of which outweighted the other... the pros or the cons! I do like though how Theresa has maintained a role in the games following Fable 1! she is probably the main reason i continue playing these games!
@darkiscoolz i only played fable 2 and 3 but i thought fable 3 had a really good story and characters that were very memorable particularly Reaver! out of the 2 fable 2 was my favorite because it had a better story than fable 3 IMO and the customization was a million times better.
@InsideMyOpinion it is a matter of opinion, in my opinion fable does have a better fantasy world and has a better story than oblivion, oblivion has much more things to do though and the mods make it even better.
@Alexthapanda shouldnt really compare Fable with the Elder scrolls. Both are quite different. Fable is like a true fairytale fantasy story. Elder scrolls is more medieval like kinda like medieval Europe but with Elves, Orcs, etc. Elder Scrolls is a meant to be first person game although you can play in 3rd person its better using first person. Elder scrolls dont put too much into their main plot story because the main plot is just small part of it as there is so many side quests and huge world.
every time a game makes something simpler it makes the whole game go shit. fable 2 was way better, honestly peter molyneux kept on complaining about people not experimenting with fable 2 and took it all away. well i say who gives a shit, those who didnt experiment or make hard choices were fucking cod gamers. im gonna trade fable 3 back and get my old fable 2.

Liked the game overall. Fun and enjoyable, and rather simple. The game is much better when you are less powerful, as it gets just way too easy after a while. Sidequests are fun for a bit too, and again become repetitive. Biggest rip-off? The ending, hands down. That final "showdown" was so brutal. What the hell was all the leveling up for? Otherwise, a good time. 7/10.

yep i am, but doesn't change the fact that the character development and story was half ass. I felt closer the characters in a RTS. As far as it being because it's a brit thing, was lionhead brit for the first one? loved the first one, had good story, even felt a little bad at the end for killing the sister so i could have the wicked sword. 2nd one had no feeling.
to be honest without even taking into account the whole american-british thing, fallout is an all-around better RPG unless you hate VATS combat. for me fable 2 didnt last me more than 30 hours with sidequests/rare weapons, ect. the combats fluid and fun, but theres really a lack of depth and content. the dog was cool though. fallout 3 clocked in for me around 100 hours..and i still havent done alot of sidequests. i hope fable 3 keeps the combat but goes more in-depth

Sure Oblivion, Fallout, and Fable are all RPGs but they are all different in many ways. This game reviewer is a pratt. Hes trying to make just the tiniest little thing sound really cool and Interesting. i would say yes it is a very long and possibly worth your money it's not as long and good as fallout 3 but i won't say it's bad. it's still a pretty bad ass game and not as mooshy as everyone says it is.

This looks interesting and love the look and setting (other than the cartoony character models). There are just little things that seem like they might get on my nerves. The way you interact w/ people seems weird and cartoonish. And the combat doesn't interest me all that much. I'm pretty iffy on whether I should buy this.
to me the game was very fun but not the story so much ..like the side things you can do in the game like buyin house and been a assassin and liveing caves killing cops and you can get H I V in the game by haveing sex ..to that was a funny part of the game..your person can be evil or good And you have a Dog as a pet to help you in the games you fight zombies and you can hunt for rare items buy weapons have a family or just kill them in there sleep but it is a very fun game to me
fallout 3 for sure. both are great, but fallout contains a far higher amount of immersion, and has even won the game of the year award from many websites such as IGN
There is only one bad thing about Fallout 3 that no one ever mentions and I dont know why! This is very crucial to budding gamers... (Now at 150 hours in game). Nothing is good enough after uve played FO3... Just like most people replied... It is hard to find the same immersion, diversity, choice and replay value in other games. It makes most of today's rpgs obsolete. Mmo's become pointless quest-giving grinds for example. U can never chose varied dialog options.. or ways to approach a quest...
i dunno why ppl are giving fable 2 such bad reviews and bad comments i love it. I havent played Fallout 3 but im gonna get it i say get both i dont think you will be disappionted :)

Pros: great visuals with engaging presentation that makes it feel like a book come to life. Great and fun gameplay. Good voice acting
Cons: unoriginal simple story and lack of boss fights.

never hear the same sentance....(the time is. Very late)about sums it up
amazing combat system... it was too simple and u couldn't die.
story is long and awesome..... it was short and silly
the ending was shit.
getting people to marry u and into bed was easy and stupid with the emotion system.
don't get me wrong it was an ok game for a week and i played it alot there was just too much missing from what linohead promised, i hope they make fable 3 what 2 should have been.

this is a BRITISH game made by BRITISH developers. i guarantee the ones of you who talk shit about it or say Fallout or Oblivion is better are mostly american. american's just don't get it, through no real fault of their own. and the one who said Bethesda should have made it..well..it wouldn't be Fable then. Lionhead are a BRITISH studio, and Bethesda are American. American's don't get brits a lot of the time so figures they wouldn't get this game

yep i am, but doesn't change the fact that the character development and story was half ass. I felt closer the characters in a RTS. As far as it being because it's a brit thing, was lionhead brit for the first one? loved the first one, had good story, even felt a little bad at the end for killing the sister so i could have the wicked sword. 2nd one had no feeling.

to be honest without even taking into account the whole american-british thing, fallout is an all-around better RPG unless you hate VATS combat. for me fable 2 didnt last me more than 30 hours with sidequests/rare weapons, ect. the combats fluid and fun, but theres really a lack of depth and content. the dog was cool though. fallout 3 clocked in for me around 100 hours..and i still havent done alot of sidequests. i hope fable 3 keeps the combat but goes more in-depth

@sickspastic as an american i enjoy both games but Fable is mor immerssive where as oblivion however doesnt liimit where you can physically take your charachter and the xp system is a tad more ambient but it gets pretty boring and fallout that is a great game but can not really be compared to fable series dammn it Fable just has a certain charm and i like the gameplay i'll be playing Fable 3 late in to the night today

@sickspastic whats not to get about this game? theres not enough to do, its to short, and overall, its just not that good. dont get me wrong, i like the game (dont like oblivion or fallout 3) but before the game came out, they were all like "you can do anything! theres thousands of sidequests!" but no. huge letdown, not enough stuff to do, and just overall a big letdown.

@sickspastic Way to start pointing fingers. Videos games are like books and movies, people like different types of them. Sure Oblivion, Fallout, and Fable are all RPGs but they are all different in many ways. Don't get me wrong I'm a pretty big fan of the Fable series, I've got all 3 games but the only reason I prefer Bethesda's games over Fable is because the world is just so much bigger and the characters you make can be so different. Fable is fun but doesnt have the longevity of oblivion.

This game reviewer is a pratt. Hes trying to make just the tiniest little thing sound really cool and Interesting. Try and understand this, how most people say, Halo2 and 3 didnt feel no-where near the same as Halo1 (Combat Evolved). Thats just how I compare Fable2 to Fable1. And If Fable3 is anything like this? I'll be going off the whole series.

i would say yes it is a very long and possibly worth your money it's not as long and good as fallout 3 but i won't say it's bad. it's still a pretty bad ass game and not as mooshy as everyone says it is.

but thts the amazingness of oblivion lol, its meant to be huge and i fucked around for weeks before i started on the quest although, the higher level u r the higher levl ur opponents become, so the gates were a lot harder for me lol

the only bad thing was the trail, it got on my nerves because most of the time was in a straight line and i didn't know which way to go and it would sometimes disappear all together.
apart from that great game and the hero of skill, Reaver is such a twat!!!!!!!!

I think if Bethesda made this game it would be a lot better, if they made it like oblivion but with the whole evil or good thing, the thing i really dident like about fable 2 was the sparkely path thing, it felt really artificial, it felt like all you did was run along the path, i rember when i was like 11 i played fable 1 and loved it, it was soo fun, i hope fable 3 will be more like the first.

This looks interesting and love the look and setting (other than the cartoony character models). There are just little things that seem like they might get on my nerves. The way you interact w/ people seems weird and cartoonish. And the combat doesn't interest me all that much. I'm pretty iffy on whether I should buy this.

to me the game was very fun but not the story so much ..like the side things you can do in the game like buyin house and been a assassin and liveing caves killing cops and you can get H I V in the game by haveing sex ..to that was a funny part of the game..your person can be evil or good And you have a Dog as a pet to help you in the games you fight zombies and you can hunt for rare items buy weapons have a family or just kill them in there sleep but it is a very fun game to me

There is only one bad thing about Fallout 3 that no one ever mentions and I dont know why! This is very crucial to budding gamers... (Now at 150 hours in game). Nothing is good enough after uve played FO3... Just like most people replied... It is hard to find the same immersion, diversity, choice and replay value in other games. It makes most of today's rpgs obsolete. Mmo's become pointless quest-giving grinds for example. U can never chose varied dialog options.. or ways to approach a quest...
