12GB of ram... no not 12MB its 12GB its more then any computer today has in any store and its more then any computer up to this date should have... its freaking nice... its my privet monster rig :)
Our mac pro towers in our university lab have 32GB, no not 32mb, 32GB for film editing, hehe. Of course, you have to order them like that from apple and they don't come stock like that. Nonetheless, for a home beast, amazing, very purrrrty, and affordable I can imagine, heh :)
Oops, I should probably mention, the only way to achieve 32 given the limited amount of slots on a mobo is to use 8 X 4 GB sticks of1066MHz DDR3 ECC SDRAM, juicebie :)
Hahahahaha you should have waited for the single bard gtx 295 to come out in a few weeks they run a little cooler wouldn't be so hard to get custom coolers and water blocks.

The NB heatsink on your x58 board is just begging for a fan mod. 40mm or 50mm fan will work best and probably free a few extra mhz and a fps or two.

Even drives can benifit from added cooling and plus that chip controls much of your pci-e lanes.

it does not get that hot... it now NB 49C SB 50C so its not that hot... But the 295s well... thats an different story i will tell tomorrow... :)

those will be rather expensive... so i will stick with these... :) im not made of cash...
the water blocks are nice but to expensive... air does the trick well for me... so ill stick with that :)
