yup, its pretty quick, now it puts down 207 hp on a mustang dyno. Thats about 220 ish on a dynojet. flywheel, intake, exhaust, 4.77 gears, full suspension, chipped, water pump, radiator, 17lb 9.5 inch wheels, battery reloc, short shifter, and a few cosmetic mods.

it prolly more dude. rx8's computer systems are too smart. so when you hook it to a dyno the ecu knows that the front wheels are not turning therefore the ecu detunes the engine a little as to not overheat the cat. was reading about this a little while ago. there is a way to trick the ecu into thinking the fronts are spinning but i dont remember how. so i would guess your making more like 255-260 at the flywheel and about 225-235 to the wheels. just to let ya know.

U sure that video was altered? I hope so because the tach and actual RPMs can't keep up with one another (you notice when the gears are shifted and the RPM backs down to 5k, the needle still reads 7k), and that bothers me. I don't like flukey gauges. LOL

I think thats because hes not dropping his clutch... Thats what happens when your on the gas and still letting out the clutch. Then when the gear fully engages your new rpms are showing. I.E. Notice when you drop the clutch into first gear and your tires spin your rpm will go from 7k to 4k? 

Or maybe you drive an automatic... cuz most people already know this kind of stuff

there are 2 levels of power.... one is 190bhp which revs to 7.5k and the 230 which revs to 9k thats why there is a difference not because its auto or manual
