  • A "developed" nation shd be setting the EXAMPLE for others to follow.

    A reference standard.

That nation shd have almost zero unemployment, growing healthily, NOT in serious debt, and everyone shd have gone thru FULL education. That's the bare basics of what a 'DEVELOPED' NATION shd be .......at the very least.

America is merely a DEVELOPING military superpower.

    Nothing more.

hahaha...only 30% Americans hv passports. WHAT A LAUGH.

    Sounds typically 3rd world.

  • Jim Rogers (JR) doesn't say like that Republican whom switched to be a Democrat Texan, with his windmills, in the U.S. whom wanted everyone to invest with him. Is America's vice "addiction to oil?" We did not learn anything from the Arco/BP/Amaco disaster? I would really like the Tea Party if they stopped being social extremists.

  • gold n silver!. If you are in the US some guns n ammo!!!

  • @quadcatfly

Don't forget to add some pussy in there. Very important for a man to be able to get his dick wet with some good pussy. 2 or 3 is best recommended.

  • how can he own a currency for so long. how

  • JR is a paid shill. I wonder how much the CCP pays him to hype China. China is a bubble. And it's about to burst. He looks like an old clown with that bow-tie.

  • @indiasucksalways

I agree! Michael Pettis is much better informed about China.

  • the us's only hope is to run every body out of washington and and give keys to jim and tell him to "fix it" lol

  • I wish they would ask him what will happen to the Chinese economy when/if the price of oil goes to 200/bbl. I see less money to buy chinese goods and higher transportation costs for those goods to America and the world. Chaos ,,civil war? It could happen.

  • I love USA but I don't love the US dollar right now.. Why not? America is borrowing $3.62 for every $1 of GDP output. Does that make sense at all? But I would rather have America lead the world than China. Hopefully, US gets its act together, soon.

  • if jim rogers read these replies, he would probaly say :`` you guys are bad for my nervous system!``

  • damn it, the last bit of the video was the most interesting before it cut off...

  • The USD is the new opium, and China cannot have enough. America should let everyone produce(print) as much as they please to buy up whatever goods China can produce, just the way the west use opium to make China go bankrupt in the last century.

  • Porn is the new opium

  • @1RoaringMonk

You can get porn for free over internet (they are doing that a lot); but must barter USD with tangible goods, sweat and hard labor

  • @martianlah uh, but USD is not the opium of the Chinese, it is that of the US. China wont go bankrupt, the US will, you're the one lending money and buying shit.

  • @Visfen yes, u.s owes money to china

  • @jayangli U.S. owes exactly one year's worth of GDP to China. BIG DEAL. If you owe $500K on a house and make $500K a year do you think you have a debt problem? China is garbage.

  • @indiasucksalways The U.S has a large debt problem. China is garbage? Why. I guess the U.S is so perfect to you. Why do they bully weaker countries eh?

  • @jayangli Bully weaker countries. Haven't you heard of 9/11 fool? We didn't start this war.

  • @indiasucksalways you are so brainwashed lol. There was a reason for 911 no? So because of that lets invade the whole of the middle east! you idiot!

  • indiasucksalways "Haven't you heard of 9/11 fool? We didn't start this war" - Are you sure about that? Why dont you look into WTC7 before you try to justify anymore bloodshed. Thank you.

  • @jayangli Oh boy U.S. debt is a whole YEAR worth of GDP. If you owe $500K on a house and make $500K a year do you have a debt problem? Give me a break.

  • @indiasucksalways the u.s has no problems

  • @jayangli We've got a lot less than other countries like say, oh maybe India where 600,000,000 people shit on the ground every day.

  • @indiasucksalways so wot

  • boycott china!!!!

  • yeah lets pay a yank $17 and hr to make floor tiles instead of $1 hr... Im with you..

  • where can I find the rest of this interview?

  • China has under valued their currency for many years.

You never want to gamble with a China man.

They always get the last laugh.

    Gambeling is in their culture.

  • is jim rogers scum like soros?

  • @dweber66 why is soros scum

  • Can you please post the rest of the interview ?

  • If the Chinese currencies go up, guess what happens to Wal Mart prices?

  • @smasila

It has to happen otherwise we will never work again.

  • it will double..

and make way for Americans to be forced back into manufacturing

  • @Choros22

You are right on with that.

  • @chorus22 - right on.

the Chinese have been great at protecting their markets by keeping their currency low, and have exploited the world by being sellers to the world. trade should go both ways for it to be fair. In any event, with more and more jobs going overseas, what will become of the USA? and if the US dollar does collapse, will the US become the new seller to the world?

  • It bugs me ppl giving negative to comments like this. Your entitled to your opinion

  • @Seano71 Dont get the wrong impression im a big fan of Jim Rogers and agree with most of what he says but in this particular video I have no choice but to disagree.

  • Don't think the Chinese people are nice.

They are all materialists. If they can destroy your country, they will do it.

By the way : chinese people can only buy gold certificates, not real gold... except jewelry

  • @ewffaces7 You seem to be very judgmental. And what makes you think Chinese people cannot buy real Gold?

  • @ewffaces7 And of course, Americans are not materialists right? Yep, their shopping sprees were all conspiracies by Asian countries

    lol Seriously dude?

  • Rogers drew comparison in a recent video between China now and then Japan before the Plaza Accord, saying that Japanese yen appreciated how much? 40% against dollar. Yes that's true. but that strategy by America destroyed the Japanese economy which was so ambitious at the time of tempting to replace that of America. Roger also called that a lost decade and zombie banks. He said it all.... hes right one way or another.... too bad

  • yes, since the world now runs on fiat money by the controllers of it we can see illogical booms and busts that don't make sense from an analytical standpoint. The euro having a great period in past years made no sense and we may now see years of reversal. The game will go on until change is not profitable and enticing. Then we should see protectionism ramp up and the money cartel will be betting against currencies across the board. Then one day it will reverse and the cycle repeats.

  • Free trade has made crooks like Rogers rich, and it is destroying the US economy. Of course he's against 'protectionism', him and Milton Friedman.

  • Why is he not talking about gold ?

The yuan is a fiat currency also and don't you dare trusting the chinese communist government

  • dollar was fiat for decades.. Yuan is going to do fine for decades

  • @takerdust you don't even know what "fiat" means do you . LOL idiot

  • @flimflamman

Free trade and WTO is the main reason we are in this mess.

  • protectionism never helps economies as a whole. only certain sectors
