  • weres elm street??

  • Have a look at my film section on my profile to see the slasher films I like. 70s to early 00s is where it's at when it comes to them! I've seen loads!

  • good video but you should have picked scary music

  • Comment removed

  • i just saw on youtube the complete movie "house of death 1981" not to be confused with Uwe Boll movie. love early 80's slashers

  • of all the movies that are in this list i already have 63 and alot i already had before i discovered this video but after watching it i added 19 slashers to my collection thanks again for putting this list on youtube and question: have you ever watched 'the initiation'?

  • @T0m291189 no worries! glad you liked it, and no i have not seen that one yet :)

  • Do a new one: 2001 to 2011!

  • Counted all the ones I've seen - 35. REALLY want to see Ghost House. But I'm wondering why there were no Nightmare on Elm Street movies on here, My Bloody Valentine, or Freddy Vs. Jason. Those are all great slasher films.

  • @MaggieLovesJimmy like i have said many many times before, this list was compiled based off of Slasherpool.coms which that site has since been taken down, they didnt have the elm streets and so on so thats why i just left them out, and Freddy Vs Jason is pretty crap i must say

  • @deadxclown Agreed on Freddy Vs. Jason. Could have been so much more if it weren't for that director and the writers. Should have just let the acotrs (Robert and...crap. what was his name? he played Jason.) write it. They would have came up wtih something better.

  • @Chynaash guy who played Jason was Ken Kirzinger (i wanted to see Kane Hodder in there) yeah some of the early scripts sounded much better than what we got to, i would have rathered the whole plot involving the Freddy worshippers the Fredheads personally

  • i just watched a night to dismember, it sucked in my opinion. it looked like a reconstruction video

  • Great Video but there is also the silent night, deadly night series

  • Your choice of music humors me. Don't get me wrong I love the Who. But nonetheless, this deserves something brutal!! Check out the band Immersed (the tracks on their facebook) to play over this montage of horror!!

  • @Weeseman4922

i chose The Who song because it was the song that inspired the title of Sleepaway Camp III: Teenage Wasteland, and thought it would be fitting in that way, :)

  • @deadxclown Nice! I didn't know that little fact!

  • @Weeseman4922

if you love fun dumb 80's slashers it should be right up your alley, and if you loved part 2 aswell :)

  • @deadxclown Actually, I've never found a copy of part 3 so that explains my ignorance in that way lol

  • i'm going to a horror convention in germany this november, i hope i can score some of the slasher movies i still want to have, like sweet sixteen, murder rock, rocktober blood and killer party

  • great selection ,theres some rare obsure gems.the early years were the best slashers what happened is the genre got stabbed with a knife in the back fuck cgi BLOOD DRIPS

  • great video i have a few of these movies already but i will get more.

good song too to put with the video.

  • @likelytodye

    Thanks! :)

  • what's the movie at 1:19? I can't read the title.

  • @watsonjn The Burning.

  • I like the choice of music!

  • @IamSnoogans thanks! :)

  • cool video, but "Axe" came out in 1977

  • @CalebTheDestroyer thanks! but again i got the dates from the site Slasherpool, which i think is now defunct, thats my there are mistakes ;)

  • Killer compilation. Loved it. props

  • @TheHorrorNetwork Thanks! :) also thanks for the sub & add!

  • Criminally Insane (1975) has good cast but its a silly Plot and Script but the Girl form the Shining is in it forget her name right now lol oh and also the fake blood never did it for me too red lol

  • cool video!!!! :)

  • @jenna3124

    thanks! glad you like :)

  • this stays a awesome list, i got 1 problem i can't get the movies i would love to have in my collection such as:

night school, rocktober blood, pranks, the final terror, sweet sixteen, murder rock, killer party & return to horror high

does anyone know were i can get these movies?

  • thanks! :) i wish i knew too, i would love to own alot of them myself!

  • Like the Baba O'Riley better then the first song

  • i just watched memorial valley massacre ( 5:29) and it was ausome!!!!!!!!!!!

awesome cherry falls is in the list i love that movie!

  • yeah i chose that song for that reason actually :)

yeah Cherry Falls was good for a 90's slasher, i got it for 2 bucks on dvd :)

  • thank you! :)

  • not sure, it's definitely not out in Australia where i live, sure it's not on Region 1 disc?

  • where's nightmare on elm street?

  • yes it should have been there but i went off the list from the website Slasherpool

  • i love it man. All the good stuff was before the new millennium (Saw is an exception of a good new millennium horror movie)

  • yeah! although i think Saw has ran it's course now..i'll still watch part 6,7,8 and so on though lol

  • yeah that's true. i just love the traps in the movies :D

  • yeah i agree! not like they used to be thats for sure

glad u like the vid and the songs :)

  • great video, really with this video i have learned more abaout slasher flicks than ever, but you still missed a few classics: terror train, the pool, tourist trap , hell night, etc

    great video!!!!!

    sorry for my bad english

  • great video, i may be wrong but ones i don't rememer seeing.

no alone in the dark? hell high? pledge night?

  • as i said above i used Slasherpool.coms list,

i should have thrown some others in come to think of it,

    glad you enjoyed it though!

  • yeah it was damn cool love the music to.

  • Cool video man. Lots of great films in there.

  • Thanks! and thanks also for the sub! :)

  • Cool video, even though some of these movies aren't slasher films.

  • I went of slasherpools listing so thats what they think

    thanks for watching

  • thanks man, glad you like :)

  • Dude Amazing Video

  • Thank u!

  • Awesome vid

    5 stars

  • Thanks!

  • they look awesome!!! 5/5

whats graduation day about? and is it gory?

  • i havent seen it actually, most of these movies i havent seen lol

  • oh lol, well its a troma movie so its bound to be gory

  • graduation day is about a woman who returns to her hometown to accept an athlete's metal for her sister who died of heart problems while running a short distance track race. and of course people start dying. the dead sister died in 60 seconds which was being timed w/ a stop watch, and whats cool is while being chased each victim is timed w/ a stop watch and is killed in 60 seconds. its a pretty good 80s slasher and i think the end is very creepy! check it out. it wasnt originally a troma movie.

  • Awesome! Thanks for this!

    Although I should mention:

Axe is '77, Severed Arm is '73,

  • no problem!

are they? i went of slasherpool.coms list so i think they messed up there, thanks for pointing that out!

  • thanks! glad you enjoyed it :)
