Have a look at my film section on my profile to see the slasher films I like. 70s to early 00s is where it's at when it comes to them! I've seen loads!
of all the movies that are in this list i already have 63 and alot i already had before i discovered this video but after watching it i added 19 slashers to my collection thanks again for putting this list on youtube and question: have you ever watched 'the initiation'?
Counted all the ones I've seen - 35. REALLY want to see Ghost House. But I'm wondering why there were no Nightmare on Elm Street movies on here, My Bloody Valentine, or Freddy Vs. Jason. Those are all great slasher films.
@MaggieLovesJimmy like i have said many many times before, this list was compiled based off of Slasherpool.coms which that site has since been taken down, they didnt have the elm streets and so on so thats why i just left them out, and Freddy Vs Jason is pretty crap i must say
@deadxclown Agreed on Freddy Vs. Jason. Could have been so much more if it weren't for that director and the writers. Should have just let the acotrs (Robert and...crap. what was his name? he played Jason.) write it. They would have came up wtih something better.
@Chynaash guy who played Jason was Ken Kirzinger (i wanted to see Kane Hodder in there) yeah some of the early scripts sounded much better than what we got to, i would have rathered the whole plot involving the Freddy worshippers the Fredheads personally
Your choice of music humors me. Don't get me wrong I love the Who. But nonetheless, this deserves something brutal!! Check out the band Immersed (the tracks on their facebook) to play over this montage of horror!!
i chose The Who song because it was the song that inspired the title of Sleepaway Camp III: Teenage Wasteland, and thought it would be fitting in that way, :)
i'm going to a horror convention in germany this november, i hope i can score some of the slasher movies i still want to have, like sweet sixteen, murder rock, rocktober blood and killer party
great selection ,theres some rare obsure gems.the early years were the best slashers what happened is the genre got stabbed with a knife in the back fuck cgi BLOOD DRIPS
Criminally Insane (1975) has good cast but its a silly Plot and Script but the Girl form the Shining is in it forget her name right now lol oh and also the fake blood never did it for me too red lol
great video, really with this video i have learned more abaout slasher flicks than ever, but you still missed a few classics: terror train, the pool, tourist trap , hell night, etc
graduation day is about a woman who returns to her hometown to accept an athlete's metal for her sister who died of heart problems while running a short distance track race. and of course people start dying. the dead sister died in 60 seconds which was being timed w/ a stop watch, and whats cool is while being chased each victim is timed w/ a stop watch and is killed in 60 seconds. its a pretty good 80s slasher and i think the end is very creepy! check it out. it wasnt originally a troma movie.
weres elm street??
