Incredible, as always from TBP and Dave King. He constantly surprises during live performances. Absolutely nothing is off limits. It looks like he's playing very hard, yet the mix is great. Is that just the beauty of playing in a hall like this?

I just saw them yesterday at the Ottawa Jazz Festival, and what I love about this band is how they're always smiling when they're playing. It just shows how much they enjoy playing together and that makes them an awesome band.

I have seen Dave King many times from the front row and I can assure you he is not human. Live he is actually more impressive than he appears on this video. Kind of like watching Buddy Rich's left hand -- you know it is impossible. But for a non-human, he is an incredibly friendly and nice guy.

It's really amazing that electronic music gave birth to rhythms that are humanly impossible to play, and then an extremely skillful human comes along and DOES the impossible.
