  • Yes, but how do you feel about soccer?

  • I wish you hadn't taken Telling It All #47 down. It was so funny that I watched it every time I needed a laugh!

  • Don't like football, Peter. This young guy made a video saying why do old people have boring voices! Then he gave them young voices. It was funny.

  • hey we can still do things.i'm nearly 62 but still making a living singing.check out gypwin

  • I think your videos are great. Thanks for doing them and sharing your life.

  • Well, that is just completely wonderful, and I cannot but concur, football (or footy, as they say) is a complete waste of time. Blimey, it was great to hear that, as sometimes I am under the impression that everybody has joined this cult, this weird and strange religion of the so-called "beautiful game" . . . Having said that though, I must also confess to not liking any other sport either. Still, all's well that ends well, it was really a breath of fresh air to hear your confession. Cheers!

  • With you not liking football, maybe you should move to the United States..

  • Hi Peter! You're like the grandad that I've never had. It's so nice hearing your stories. :] I'm going to subscribe.

    Best wishes!

  • I'm not interested in hockey either. "And you're from Montreal?" they ask me...

  • I don't like sports much at all, save for horse racing and horseback riding. I prefer chess or something that makes me think. People call me weird, but I call myself pre middle aged, lol. BTW, I'm glad you're still making videos. I got worried, but then again, today is the 100th birthday of some lady who goes to our church.

  • LOL Peter! The story of your childhood football experience really made me giggle. As usual, you've posted another way to make me smile. Thank you, dear Granddad!

  • Hi Peter,

Your not the only one who's not intrested in soccer. Now i have a son and in a teeny weeny back off my head i hope that he's also not intrested in soccer :-)

I do like other sport, but soccer... naah! thats nothing for me.

  • interesting as ever! my husband is italian and LIVES for soccer! (yeah, i'm american) my son was good at it (his nickname was little pele) but didn't keep up with it. Love you!

  • THEROASTCHICKEN, O RLY?

  • Ha ...surprised us all ... I thought you were going to say you had "come out of the closet" or had some Dick Dastardly deed to report ...:hahaha:

Now ... you don't like football ... what about a game of tennis then? :)

Please let us know when that Harley trip has been experienced ... I'm sure the HOGS are watching and waiting!

Some great photos of Vale in Paris yesterday on motogp ... should be a great race ... if the rain holds off!

  • Awesome video Pete ... keep the good work :)

  • I thought u were about to say you were gay!

  • same omg!!!!

  • I have had a lifetime love of football and Glasgow Celtic in particular. I know it's not for everyone, but I think if you went to a game and took in the atmosphere, you would enjoy it.

  • We're up to #61, on "Telling it all"?

Oh Peter, you're a delight, and always entertaining!

PS - Don't have much use for British Football - now an American Football game leave most 1st time spectators

in baffling excitement, and If you're not up on the rules, rooting for your team, is a task. I love the game, personally.

    Cheers!

  • Hi Peter....haven't had a chance to visit for a while so just stopping in to check out a few videos(it's a PA day here in Canada) and wish you well!

    xoxo Lindsay

  • Ha! It's the same for me here in Australia. I really don't like rugby or Australian rules football, and the sports are so popular it's pretty much expected that you know everything about them and you know which teams to support. Oh well.

  • I'm not a sports person myself either. I don't even like hockey, and i'm Canadian.

  • football is awesome :D, but I understand its not everyones cup of tea. Are you a fan of any sports ?

  • Yea, football. I hear it mentioned in movies that aren't filmed in the U.S. Good topic.

  • Very enjoyable video once again, I too am a firm fan of motosports and motorbikes, and would like to see just one video dedicated to your favourite bikes, favourite motorsport races and so on.

Keep up the good work, you have quite a large loyal following now! :)

  • Peter, I enjoy the honesty. If I wasn't already in love with you, I am now!

  • Cross country runs, and paper chases eh!, ... and Peter, if you thought you were lousy at football, then you should have seen me in any type of run, I was absolute rubbish, ... I had a friend, with whom I was always, as in ALWAYS! last , or second to last, without fail, ... every ... single ... time! ( even when we tried to cheat! ) :-)

  • I understanding the feeling Peter as I am not quite a big fan of Football also.

  • Norwich school! I live in norwich :)

  • who do you support in football

  • We share some interests but this is one area where we differ greatly, I love footie

    Take care great man.xx

  • peter were you on news once about youtube? i recognise you!

  • I enjoy football only during the World Cup (during this world competition I watch every match - hehe). However, the intern championships in Brazil are sooooo many and all of them happen at the same time, practically, so all this intensity makes me tired! It's football all the time, so it makes me sense it as "not special".

    Abraços, Peter (="hugs")!

  • I always love listening to you ! yo're such a role model !!!

  • Hey Peter do you like rugby?

  • Glad to see you finally made it to Confession. As for the disclosure of your sin, please recite 3 Hail Caesars, stay away from football, and go and sin no more...!

    Thom in South Carolina USA

  • Check out the pic at 1:20 .. shirts off, not a fat kid amongst them, I'd like to see a modern comparison with the bloated masses wondering the school yards these days!

  • I'm Canadian and I'm one of those people who hasn't the smallest interest in hockey. I think I've been to 2 hockey games in my life. I'm impressed by their skills, I just can't gather enough interest to pay attention to a sport that is over-hyped and rife with fan rivalry. And sadly, too much pressure is put on young players to excel early since it's the only way to be good enough for the national hockey league. So parents are pushy and kids are violent and it's all too competitive too early.

  • I like a little a bit of all sports, but cannot be tied to them to the point that they rule my life. Variety is the spice of life. Went to a hockey games once and started to leave after two periods. There are three. People thought i wuz nuts.

  • I'm pretty much exactly the same

for some reason i really can get into the world cup and when it finishes i always say i must support a team because i seem to really enjoy it but i never do!

i feel that overall rugy is just better.

  • rugby, right?

  • I use to play football (we called it soccer) as a kid and loved it. However, it was nothing like the pros.

  • i love to skateboard peter, i can easily imagine you as a lad being a brilliant skater, cheers

  • ok that is your new goal. go to a soccer game.

  • awe no foot ball for grand dad..... i still think you are groovy.

    yaya

  • Me neither!

  • I like american Football, but I've never gotten into british Football (soccer). Just could never get into it. Enjoy your videos, Peter!

  • I love "Telling it all"!! Love you too Peter!

  • Not a fan of football (soccer) either...probably because I'm a baseball fan. :)

  • Thanks... not a football fan either.

  • Thanks for sharing!

  • That takes me back, Peter. We always had to do cross-country in the snow, when the football pitches were unusable.A group of us would make it a social occasion. We ambled around the street course, larking about and making jokes, with our skinny legs glowing bright red from the cold. We always stopped at the sweet shop to get some goodies, and warm up our now freezing extremities. The teacher never asked why we took 2 hours to cover a 20 minute run, while he stood shivering, waiting for us.

  • I can't believe you don't like football!! I'm from the US but football (soccer) is probably my favorite sport.

  • always good to see another telling it all installment. Good video Peter

  • great job

  • I feel exactly the same about American football!

  • great video

  • I love the footie, but it aint the end of the world if my team doesn't win.

  • God Bless you Peter.

  • Always great to see one of your posts pop up on an otherwise dreary day, Peter. You're a man after my own heart, brother--I couldn't give a tinker's damn what sports exhibition is on--but I usually suffer through it to make guests at home. I thought I was the only one in this regard. Gimme a motorcycle, and let the other folks watch the boob tube while I ride. Then we're all happy.

  • I feel the Same About Vollyball I was forced to play it inschool when i was little & Grew to dislike it as a result

  • Does your motorsport interest include F1 or is it strictly motorbike based?

  • It's all right I'm from the US and I don't like baseball.

    peace

  • Very interesting. I'm exactly the same way with US American football; I could care less about it. I'm seeing you in a new light.

  • yeah go norwich!!!!!

  • Another great one, the second I click on the icon is when I start smiling... even though this was not a recipe show. LOL

Football (soccer) is soooo much better for the players and it might be growing in the US. Sadly, the timing structure for the game doesn't allow for televised beer commercials (sad but true) so it has a handicap here.

I think American Football is a real snore fest.

Be well and I can 'harley' wait to hear about your next adventure. ;)

  • I didn't like football but I went to a Tottenham match and I loved it, now I'm really getting into the whole thing. I love motorsport too though.

  • Being Irish, I have to support Manchester United; and I certainly do, very passionately actually lol. It's only a game but I like it :)

When England won the World Cup in 1966 I bet you were just a liiiittle bit excited about it, no? The atmosphere in England must have been amazing at that time.

  • I'm with you Peter: motorcycles are far more interesting.

  • How in the wild world of sports are you?!?!?! How is the maritime project coming!?!?!?

  • I like to watch our local team, The Philadelphia Eagles.

    Moomay

  • This isn't football....this is American Football

  • Nice to hear from you Peter, I'm not a football guy either, I did enjoy the hockey world championship games, it's a shame that Finland didn't reach the final games :(

  • Glad your internet has now been sorted, I suspect it was a line fault like you said.

Talk soon Peter, hope you sorted the mail.

    :)

  • Great vlog Peter! You are wise to have stayed clear of football, it has saved you from a life of disapointment!:)

  • very nice video I hope you got to ride a motorcycle talk to you soon

  • As a kid, I was, as all boys of the little town I lived back then, to join the local football team when I was around 7 years old.

But exactly then, I got chronic Asthma, and really bad. Sports that included running were a no-go from then. So I was not able to attend to the task of kicking the leather bladder, not as a private delight, and not for the fame and glory of Chancellor and Country ...

Well, I really think, this turn of events were for the best, for all of us - including me :-)!

  • good job Peter! :D

  • I don't like Eurpean football but I love American football. I like drag racing and Indy Car too although I've never really seem motorcycle racing.

  • I don't like football either.

  • I don't like football either.

  • I don't like football either ;-)

  • comming out, lol

  • awesome

  • footballers get paid far too much to wear a shirt and shorts and kick a ball around for 90minutes.... they should get paid less, maybe a bit more than us average joe. i enjoy motorsport (especially rally) but also enjoy touring cars, i also used to go to the welsh rallys years ago in my youth.. :D

  • :-D

  • Great stuff
