If you want six pack abs all you have to do is bring down your body fat percentage. You do that by eating six full course meals in small portions per day. Drink at least a gallon a water everyday and have a good balance of cardio and strength training.

Guys, you need to activate the Afterburn effect in order to shred the fat. Short intense cardio exercises work. I use "THE RACK" all in one gym and it has a great dvd that uses resistance cardio that shreds the fat. There are others out there like what he mentioned in the vid.
You don't have to do loads and loads of cardio, Just do 20 mins HIIT interval training every other day (apart from weekends for me cuz that's just my routine) and hit multi muscle group excercises like squats and bench press, these all give an 'afterburn' effect which burns calories even when you're not training cuz of the ass kicking you just gave it. so, healthy 5 smaller meals a day so your metabolism is always high, HIIT and compound excercises FTW!

@matiashehe cardio is cardio...only different you do high intensity you'll be burning more calories in a shorter period of time..if you aint in a rush just go out for a morning jog

You're right the fat is actually making your abs not visible ,the only way is indeed to burn this fat and you HAVE to become thin to do that but you also need exercises and RUNNING to burn that fat -yes running it's the best way to burn the fat.You don't need to become very skinny you just need exercise and ofc good nutricion (no fast food ,no cola or stuff like that ) :)

What would suggest for a guy who is diabetic and needs to eat a specfic amount each day inorder to not fall flat on his face during a work out due to low blood sugar?

Summed up, you have to be skinny before you can get a 6 pack. Fact. I've always been very thin, so I do workouts like this every few days and I have a six pack very easily.
