Controversy In Santa Barbara

To Stybarow- I see more Scandanavians moving to Cali than the other way- that's causing the sprawl! Maybe it's because the government controls Scandanavian lives so much and taxes them to death, that it's expensive to have a family and build much over there. However the Norwegians are smart enough to drill their own oil and not open their wallets to the Arabs.

To MikeValeriani- Who will fund those alternative energies? If we drill, we will save so much money, that every Santa Barbarian could get free solar arrays within a few years. If we don't drill, our money goes to Arabs and Chinese.

no one is more environmentally caring than scandinavian countries. norway and denmark are both big producers of offshore oil and gas reserves. if california was truly so concerned about the environment, it would have prevented the urban sprawl that has destroyed most of the charm that area once had.
