well, they're actually six in the group, kinda, without Jan Apelholm behind the mixer (and what have you) TRG wouldn't be what they are today. I like the pop they can do with all new fun technology, even though their 'classic' Count Basie material is just devine.
True, Jan is a big part of their group. Interesting story, he wasn't at this concert/master class. They had a friend from Rajaton do sound for them and and the start of the concert, the bass's (Anders J) mic's volume was almost nothing. So during his part in the opening of It Don't Mean a Thing, he just kind of rushed through it. Mics got adjusted after the 2nd song or so.
Really hate that they added the brunette. -_-

sounds like there's a lot of distortion on the mic that adds to the effect.
