Thats just the way his face is. Look on the back cover or inside of their new cd as well. Its not that he is trying to make it look like something or not. He is using his voice for the glory of God, the main reason for all of this. Often times too much attention is given to actual performance, than the vocals. This is deviating from the real purpose of sharing God's way through song
