I think this is a great workout. I love being able to use my treadmill for more than a boring run. It makes it so much more worth the price. I (unlike the idiot who claims he/she got his/her fingers sliced off but can still type up a comment on here rather contacting a lawyer who would tell him/her not to contact longevityclubs in any way until a lawsuit has been settled) am smart enough to take proper safety precautions while performing these exercises.

Seriously, people. You are being ridiculous. Any exercise should be done with caution. Even more so with a giant machine like a treadmill. A warning should be added somewhere in the description: "If you are too stupid to work heavy machinery or take proper safety precautions, please do not try this at home without a special helmet and EMS watching you like a train wreck waiting to happen."
The dude hasn't posted any new vids recently. Apparently, they are still finding parts of his brachiorasdialis and extensor carpi ulnaris muscles in the treadmill years afterwards.
Imagine a personal trainer advocating this to their clients and the law suits! Insanity!
@TS50ER We've been shooting video for a DVD. ..Steve's been a trainer for 17yrs and has clients doing it for years - no lawsuits if it's taught safely (no falls either). ...his degree is in physical therapy so he's no dummy - and he can pronounce big words like you too. ha!
@longevityclubs, during the tesing for PT certification if the instructor even has the client step onto the treadmill without first placing a hand on one of the side bars they will fail.
It's plain ad simple: he is using the machine in an unorthodox way, contrary to the way it was designed to be used. The machines have an emergency stop button located near one's hand when walking on the machine. I can not see how he can reach the emergency stop button when his hand are on the floor!
@longevityclubs , cont: Sorry, but I really have to call BS on this one. The potential dangers verses the health benefits just don't add up. There are many other safer ways to train the chest, tricep and core than this. A good party trick, yes. But a DVD coming out soon, please!
Whatever happened to squat, dead, beach and wind sprints?
i've just tried a few of these excercises but unfortunately i slipped and caught my fingers in the belt resulting in them being sliced off. longevityclubs, i'm coming for you mate, i may only have four fingers and two thumbs but it's enough to make a fist!
Thank you so much for this. I found it very helpful and I've already begun incorporating them into my morning treadmill routine. I've already noticed my shoulders, chest and core tightening up. I'm getting married in a year and want to look extra great in my dress, and I've been looking for new ways to spice up my time with the treadmill. Thank you very, very much. :)

Very clever and inventive. I've not seen anything done on a treadmill like this before. Get strange looks at the gym thjough.
