Well if you look the facts AMW got better armor it is lighter faster and more mobile. And it has been tested all over the world in combat situations. And in fact in Afghanistan the Polish troops where shot whit 3 RPG 7 and yet it replay to fire save the trooper's inside and return to base whit out help (even though that it have less armor than basic model of AMW that it can fit polish Hercules air plane). And fact that AMW has much better armor to anti tank mines

Given the circumstances...I can see how there would be mechanical failures considering how it was a rush to get them out of the factory and on the field.

It depends on what weapon system you use on the Piranha. i drive one with a 50cal ohw "over head weapons system" that can be uses with lmg/hmg/grenade launcher. on other weapons systems its simply a matter of adjusting your rate of fire for the situation.

This has the be the Cadillac of lav's. Our scouts company had the "H" model when I served in Iraq back in 06. Ride is great, they are VERY easy to drive and performance on/off road is outstanding.

I worked maintenance on them, and the hydraulic suspension, though very nice.. but causes too much trouble and is far too complicated and expensive to be worth it in a combat vehicle.. the tire pressure regulating system is also crap as the valves tend to leak A LOT

And they are expensive like hell!
