I do have a Bond - an earlier version of the USM - and I find it really easy to use. Some people don't like them and don't have much success with them. Others love them.
your videos have helped me so much. I have just started machine knitting and I always come to your channel if I get stuck. thank you so much for uploading these fantastic videos!
I have a sears empisal knitmaster model#305 would you happen to know if there is a ribber that I can use with this machine Thanks. Ps your videos are great Debi
I'm not quite sure. I have the 302 and it has it's own ribber, the newer ones (SRP20, SRP50 etc) won't work with it. I have a feeling the 305 is the same. You could try asking at the Yahoo Machine Knitting group - groups.yahoo.com/group/Knittingmachines (I can't post a link, it won't let me)
I also have this knitting machine, however, I cannot get the thing to knit properly. I have read the instructions, which are inside the case with no success. I love your vids. I took up machine knitting approx. 2 years ago, and have a Brother 260E Bulky, Studio 560 Standard, Brother 390 Convertible (both 9 mm & 4.5 mm) and the Knit King (which is gathering dust from lack of use). I am looking for a Silver Reed 350 mid-guage. Keep up the good work!!!!

Is this the Ulatmite Sweater Nitter? How do you like it , I was thinking about getting one but i wondered if it was a good investment,

@Rwsfan101
No, it's a vintage Knitmaster.

Couldn't you do that with a crochet hook of the approximate size? The latch hook seems kind of futzy to deal with.

Interesting way of doing things.

I like to do two by one ribbing on the machine, so that way I only have to re-latch every third stitch instead of every other stitch.

@HJKelley47 Did you check the sponge bar? I find that to be the most common culprit in machines that don't work properly.

Great video. I feel slightly bad, but we all did laugh out loud at the [bump] "Ow!" I'm going to play with these ideas!
