  • Can't here a damn thing!

  • Augustin's wife in the movie was/is a GREAT actress! All of them were really great actually.

  • as an Australian, who was 3 at the time, i feel ashamed to be Australian. because although it's not quite in our government's jurisdiction, nor many other western governments, they sat on their arses and did nothing

  • love the movie just cant hear it

  • this is one of the sadest movies i have ever seen. But, it's rewally really good

  • And the sad part is that the world let the genocide in Darfur happen. So that just goes to show that people of America and the world can talk the talk but cant walk the walk. Its disgusting!!!!!!

  • actually the count is up to 1.3 million and they're still counting. they stopped counting in mid may ....but the genocide went on until july.

  • The genocide is still goin' on... so sad.

  • they said at school that it stopped... it's still going on?

  • Check out the situation in kivu region Congo from 94 to our time.. that genocide had enormous conseguences downthere.

  • @YamiandHikariYuki no it stopped. it lasted 100 days but about 1 million people were killed

  • @hehe45451

Yeah. I posted that comment in freshman year and so we didn't know a lot about it at the time, which led to me posting that (We learned about it later, though). Thankx for the information!

  • @YamiandHikariYuki oh hehe no prob! i didnt notice the comments were from such a long time ago :]

  • please put the sounds harder

  • yerp +1

  • really excellent movie. I saw it on HBO. Wish I could get mthis movie

  • no im saying its a genocide going on now

  • yeah i just watched this movie is in school and i want 2 show it to my family and did u all know its a genocide going on right now.

  • no its not, it happened in 1994

8,000,000 people were killed in 100 days

  • no,actually is 800,000 to a one million.

  • yea sorry extra zero got in thar

america does not have allies, only interests

and since rwanda had nothing interesting to other countries, they did nothing.

but apparently the UN got any other pedestrian that wasnt rwandan out of there and totaly blew off the people who were dieing

  • I hope you realize that America was under an administation that didn't want to "interfere" with other countries.

The problem is activists, they're two sided. on one hand, they are outraged that we did nothing to stop the genocide(even though Europe, and the United States both turned their heads,France even supported the Hutu government) on the other, everytime America or Europe wants to intervene and help people the news says "Another unjust war waged by the evil United States/NATO"

  • exactly. Unfortunately Clinton was to busy boning Monica Lewinsky while this was going on.

  • There is a vast difference between and unjust war for the sake of profit margins, and intervening in a genocide.

America did not even need to put men on the ground (they were shy after Mogadishu), they were asked to supply a single airplane to Jam the RTLM radio that was calling people out to kill their neighbors. The State Department decided that they wouldn't obstruct the Hutu's right to free speech by jamming the radio transmissions.

  • no 1,000,000 people were killed in 100 days

  • its 800,000 in 100 days, they have documentation

there are only a few million in that country, the dutch were just stupid not to leave someone with no preference for the tirbes

  • It was the Belgians retard....

  • dutch and belgains, almost every country in europe got in on a slice of the cake

  • please please upload all the movie

    please

  • there is sound its just really low turn up your volume
