Y'know, I don't think I could have too many arms to hug all those little balls of fluff with. I love puppies.

Then they mature, and turn into beautiful, smart, and happy adults. The puppy days come and go, but you fall in love with your big dog buddy. I had a red border collie mutt, and I'm convinced to this day that he was a human in a past life.

OMG collies are a ball of energy lol. I have a blue merle border colored...she's spekled like yours. I call her Angel cuz it looks like she has a halo on her head :). And you can't walk her, she walks you lol. She always holds the leash in her mouth when we walk like she's walking me xD.

i got a merle but he looks just like a normal collie,sadly on his first ever walk as a puppie he got attacked by a cat and lost one of his eyes

i have a border collie that is a minature i guess, looks just like the black & white,not spotted. this guy will tear my heart out when something happens to him, he is going to be 2 years in Jan. he is the greatest dog i have ever seen. any ideas how to keep him from barking a t a leaf falling or the change of the wind, thats my only complaint with him.his name is snooky & he is very protective of me & our territory.need the dog whisperer at my house...lol

Nah you can't really. It's just their natural herding instinct lol. Mine barks at leaves, squirrels, bushes moving in the wind, sprinklers xD...anything. She likes to nip at you heels sometimes too when she's playful, and hold the leash in her mouth when you walk her...and the cutest thing is she rounds up her lil toys like they are sheep or something xD...she nudges & nip at them until they are in a perfect group haha.

I adopted my first dog three years ago after getting over a 26-year long phobia of dogs. So not only did I rescue him, he rescued me. When I first brought him to the dog park, another dog owner told me that your first dog will always be the hardest to get over when he passes. The thought of the inevitable future hurts, but it only makes me enjoy the moments I have with him now.

border collies are great dogs however they need a lot of attention and activity dont get one unless you are prepared to spend lots of time doing what they wanna do
