I had no idea you guys had been to my neck of the woods here in Virginia. I hope you'll come perform at "Floydfest" one of these days... it's getting to be a pretty big deal on the U.S. "festival circuit".
I'm glad the B&H version of "Race is On" is here, to keep UkeJill's presence here on youtube. I was disappointed the other day, when I discovered her site had been deleted. Her "Ooh Lah" was a "favorite" of mine, and I've been one of her subscribers for 2 years.
If anybody can contact Jill, please, PLEASE ask her to put her channel back on! I stumbled upon it just the other day and was so taken aback at the Who covers she did. It's not everyday you listen to Pure & Easy on the ukulele - it was fantastic! It's a sad irony that she put it down just a few days after I found it. Anyway: lovely voice, beautiful versions of some of the best music there is.
I don't usually leave comments around here, but in this case I felt I had to.
@Greenviolinplayer wiped out the old making way for the new. Need a uke and a video camera first... Will probably redo Pure & Easy cause that version wasn't so great and it's a timely song. Thanks for the interest!
@UkeJill Hello! I share Greenviolinplayer's view that it'd be great if you put some videos back up. I liked your version of Let My Love Open the Door far more than Townsend's, Vedder's or any other artist on youtube. If not possible I hope you get uke and a camara soon enough and start uploading more great songs. All the best and thanks for the songs, a few of which I still listen to regularly!
Actually this is country music. It was sang by George Jones, and made to be a hit by him. Bluegrass was a precursor to country, so yeah. Sounds good though! A little taste of Appalachia. I wouldn't live any where else in the world. I'm from West Virginia.
i like you guys!

Jill is excellent and Bosko shows he can adorn any song. Jill lives in country that reminds me of parts of Queensland.
