I have some really expensive watches in my collection (Corum, Omega, Breitling etc) as well as Brioni, Armani, and Ralph Lauren suits. I also have Mont Blanc pens. And I can still send a gift to a child in need at christmas time.

They don't need gold for their watches to be expensive because theirs are complicated and take craftsmanship. I respect. Plus they look sick as hell.

@TheMummy516 Yes, you've got 100% right. This diamond watch has the price tag of 25 million dollars and it's made by Chopard (to be frank it's a jewellry maker, not a watch brand). I knew this, but it's not a watch to be frank... More like a diamond bracelet (which looks disgusting) with built in watch mechanism. Of course the mechanism is not nearly as complicated as Patek mechanisms and if not for the diamonds set in gold/platinum this watch would not cost not more than thousand bucks.

Nowadays, hand-crafted watches from well-known and established watch companies are all like pieces of fine art. And for most men, it is an accepted piece of man accessory.
