retraction,,, it does come with a trial version,,, but the way they wrote the serial code, i must have entered it wrong,,, just enter the numbers , not the vis-dle- in front of the numbers.... the dp2 still might have some USB issues and some computers might not recognize it at first. but its an awesome toy!

Actually Mark, there should be a serial # that came with your PCDJ DX. Just type it in and BAM! A lite version of PCDJ DEX you get :)

Oh no, it's just a matter of MIDI mapping the software to recognize it. So basically any program that supports MIDI, the DP2 will rock!

it take a while for +5 minute videos, usually take 20min to 2hours for you video to get loaded, depending of the length of you video.

Definitely works with VDJ, although not natively yet. Forums on VDJ Site show a BELGEC product (the non- Amer Audio version) works well (reportedly).

Hopefully they make a patch, or at least an XML file for mapping! P&E!

Maybe you should show also some disadvantages of this controller - like latency and really poor scratching function... So people could have full view on what to expect - not just bright side. Of course price is low, so it is interesting kit for beginners amateur DJs and you don't have to use CDs - so it's nice, but maybe you should show also disadvantages of this PCDJ system. What do you think Bro?

The latency on this machine is pretty good, as you will see when we start posting BPM videos from not only me, but others. The scratch function is spot on as well.

The key here is positive. I would not show you a piece of gear I didn't trust or believe in.

As far as Advertising, I'm hosting a contest for American Audio who has been good to us as a community and continues to do so. I see no problem with this nor do most other viewers.
