  • Now that's a music history. That's amazing :)))

Mmm, by the way, John's voice... Ahahah:) Whatever xD

  • Soo sad I never got to see Freddie perform live, I was too young when he passed away ... Now I'm soo STOCKED to go to Knebworth in July to see them perform with @adamlambert! Adam is not Freddie, nor has he even pretended to be the next Freddie, yet I know it will be EPIC beyond anything else!!!! Huge, huge fan of both!!!!

  • 1st time i hear John Deacon!

  • Look at Freddies partner Jim...died last year of cancer not Aids. I wonder did he not take the drugs because he thought it was a sure way to die from Aids (the drugs were supposed to be slowing death from Aids) and then he could be with Freddie faster...but he kept on living. Freddie you live on in our memories forever!

  • I've looked at a few recent Aids/hiv doco's and they say the drugs the Drs (n pharm. companies) gave patients with Hiv pos/Aids (at that time in the 80's) were actually killing them in the horrific way we have seen happen to Freddie :-( - those who chose not to take the drugs live still. I feel so sad that it happened this way :-(

  • I've just read a book and said they think Freddie got diagnosed around this concert time as he didn't seem himself and didn't hang around for the after party at this concert. It also said he had treatment drugs brought to the house disguised in record sleeves and the likes.

  • American's know shit about great music & can't laugh at themselves so no wonder they did not tour there in the 80's, Queen did not need America, so they can suck it.

  • @Zelinna12 I am an American & I adore Queen~! That is what makes me sad that there would be the perception that America didn't ~

  • mammamiaaaaaa paurosooooo

  • Me and my Mate Brian came up from Devon Was laying in the sun dozing as we'd worked all night and driven up straight after. Thought a cloud was passing over me coz it went dark, so I looked up and caught a girl in mid stride walking over my head. All she had on was a kind of suede type mini skirt and I mean mini, thats all she had on and all I saw was a hedgehog and it was smiling at me. I sat bolt upright and looked around, she was was doing the same to all the blokes down field, were u 1 2 ?

  • I don't understand / know English before is awesome see much people!!!

No entiendo / se Inglés pero es impresionante ver tanta gente!!! (perdonar si está mal en inglés :P )

  • From all I have heard is they lost USA when the video I Want Break Free came out as Americans didn't understand their humor. Therefore they didn't have success after that and ended up staying away from USA. Such a waste and how people can be so judgmental.

  • Freddie we still love you..... FOREVER :)

  • God Bless you Freddie !!

Once upon a time , Freddie Mercury and Queen , 20 years ago ...

  • It will always kill me that the one country Queen never visited on their 1986 magic tour was the United States. I've been told that "lack of demand" was the reason but when you think of the "killer concerts" the band put on back in the late 70's and up until '81, I just can't imagine that there would have been a lack of an audience for Queen. I was so waiting for tickets to go on sale. Alas, it never came to pass. :-(

  • @cutis1000 Magic tour was only in Europe where Queen always had a big audience(most of their concerts were in football stadiums not in Arenas like in Northamerica). It's a fact that during 80's Queen music was not very successful in USA so it's logical they did only a European tour

  • @cutis1000 Queen lost their american audience since the release of Hot Space, and the Magic Tour was only in Europe, and maybe they were planning to have world tour after the European, but as Brian said on the new interview on "The Wembley Stadium 2cd box set" after Knebworth Freddie told him "I can't fucking do this anymore" so those were the first signs of his illness....

  • @cuc321 I find that so sad, I was so much younger then, of course, but I absolutely loved Queen.and would have been front & center at a concert, they have always been my favorite band~!

  • @cutis1000 this is a personal belief, but I think Freddie knew that he caught AIDS in New York and also started feeling negative towards the States. In the mid 70's and early 80's Freddie seemed to LOVE the States, but for some reason he stopped liking going there..

  • @76i86989789 Yep...you're right!

  • I was there, what a day!!

  • amazing that many people in one spot to see a concert, talk about a sea of people! the logistics must of been a nightmare. amazing
