They all do. When the Frank Kimmel Street Stocks first started racing on big tracks like Rockingham they ended up going faster than the officials felt was safe, so they put those metal blades on the roof to slow them down.
But I still like the old 80's Buicks, Chevys, Olds, etc. better. Because that's when racing was real. I was watching the old 1982 Richmond Fairgrounds 400. It was absolutely amazing to see what them guys could do in those cars.
I can't believe this doesn't draw a bigger crowd. That looks awesome!!!!!

@BUCKAMASTA Because street stock racing doesn't have nearly as many fans as NASCAR Sprint Cup lol

Brett Hudson is one our local boys. He will be back in action this weekend at Rockingham for the Polar Bear 150.

Wouldn't it be great if there was a racing series that featured unmodified cars on speedways? But new cars, not these antiques.

New cars? New cars is what ruined NASCAR
starsandbarsDixie 2 years ago
No, common templates ruined NASCAR.

The rulebook has loopholes big enough to drive a 1977 Lincoln Town Car through.
