  • Nice video, but horrible 'sound'.

  • heý_ånYÔÑë_wÁññà_chÀt_with_mÉ_í_fÈél_sò_lÓÑëly_tÓdAY┘

  • красавцы!

  • @elouwen

I wish they hadn't. I just turned off after too many 2-second flashes.

  • such a shame their not around anymore

  • @emme114 they are. they just are raced seperately around the world.

  • @dlawson688 but the orma 60 class was smashed due to the insane consts of the campaigns or not?

  • @emme114 That was the outer problem. IMOCA 60's campaigns cost just as much to build and maintain. The problem was the ORMA fleet was not international and suffered from poor media coverage. IMOCA's have the Vendee Globe as their main platform for coverage, ORMA had the Route de Rhum which is a French major.

  • it is going so fast trimarans

  • windit!

    Cool sailing too.

  • crew ? I´m in ....

  • they look MUCH faster than conventional yachts. what type of speed?

  • @kenfo0

    Oh, only about 30-40 knots...

  • @Tibarus- 30 or 40 knots, coming straight of the windspeeds? Thats like a mile every 30 seconds. Bloody fast.

  • crazy speeds

  • oh god another sailing video with shit music

  • this makes me think of that movie waterworld for some reason.

  • that looks stupidly fun, but very physical

  • it bloody hard to get it up right they don`t go over very much you should know what you bout can do . . .

  • imagine if one of those capsized

  • no pleasing some people, have you tried turning the volume down?

  • I definitely had to, after it woke up the whole office. It's much louder then any other video.

  • "I love moving water, I love ships, I love the sharp definition, the concentrated humanity, the sublime solitude of life at sea. The dangers of it only make present to us the peril inherent in all existence, which the stupid, ignorant, untravelled land-worm never discovers; and the art of it, so mathematical, so exact, so rewarding to intelligence, appeals to courage and clears the mind of superstition, while filling it with humility and true religion." -- George Santayana

  • This isn't sailing anymore this is flying! 8-]

  • VERY AMAZING ADVENTURE

  • wondeful

  • How do I become a crew member. Super racing

  • The same way as in F1, you have to start from the bottom.

  • ur gonna need to be an amazing sailor to be a crew on one of those beasts

  • i love this video

  • hehe i got to go on one of those for my 15th, theres 2 on the river hamble, took it out the solent it was awsome XD

  • I imagine once you sail in one of those, you never want to go back to monohulls!

    Great montage, cheers.

  • arkadaşlar yöremizin en güzel seslerinden biri sefa güneşi dinlemenizi tavsiye ederim toyuğu çalanı çok güzel okumuş yüreğimizin sesi bu sanatçımıza destek olun sahip çıkın herkese slm

  • Now this is sailing. If I was still in France I'd go see that in a heartbeat

  • great movie, enjoyed it very much. Does anyone knwo the music that war played?

  • What the time of these?knots? crew size? Are they class as like J's.Since they bob not dig like a sail, how great are they for rollovers? Know not in class, but almost had a Sair trihaul 18'(Ca.Manf.)Former Catalina.msge me PLEASE. Interested, not a looker.

  • you can go 30,40 knots on these. Feels like you're FLYING since a J goes about 12 maybe 15..on a reach, and that feels fast. Rollovers are not pretty, probably impossible to right them. See the guys sitting on the outer hulls trying to keep the boat down..its to be avoided.

  • MUSIC From: Kill Bill Vol 1: Soundtrack

    "Battle Without Honor Or Humanity"

    Tomoyasu Hotei

  • ha that guy in the credits gettin taken out! realy wouldn't wana be him but would love to sail one of these!

  • Great Movie

  • Thats some amazin footage, what music is that?

  • Anyone know how easy it is to right those things?

  • I can't imagine righting one. But they float pretty good while upside down long enough to tow it back to the dock and flip it with a hoist and boom truck.

  • are there harbours with 30+ m waterdept?

  • Must be terrible.

  • Fabulous...lucky wasps!!!!

  • 1:54s incredible!!!! *****

  • I suppose once they get a bit more practiced their parents will remove the stabilisers?

  • @fillyerboots1 hahahahahhahahahahahaah monohulls are king

  • @fillyerboots1 trying to figure out what you mean... you mean the armas? until you sail a multihull, you don't know what sailing is.

  • Get out of here! This is a fuckin' water-ferrari with no air bags at all!! Outstanding!

  • Check out my trimaran, not quite as big but just as fun. This is a great vid.

  • Awesome - Totally awesome!! Don't the Klingons have a fleet of these???

  • Ha! Ha! Ha! They are buying the first one. There's some Klingons learning "HOW TO DRIVE TRIMARANS IN THE INSANE STYLE" in France, Australia, N. Zealand, England and USA. Poor Starfleet Federation!

  • Great race, we have got 60 feet racing trimaran very old but we enjoy sailing

  • estupendo

  • Thats amazing!!! *****

  • ah just what I needed.. the winds are stable out of the west at about 12 knots today!!! I'm goin' sailing!

  • Those are some beautiful boats.

  • Great sport; bad video.... all the shots are too short!

  • totaly mad, i sail an ISO, but would love to get my hands on one of those puppys of a days sailing

  • FWIW, if I remember correctly, Fujicolor (shown in this clip) capsized in a cross atlantic race and some people died.

I love to watch these boats and sail a pretty extreme boat myself, but NO WAY would I go across an ocean on one. To each his own.

  • Fujicolor did indeed capsize in the Route du Rhum in 2002 and was destroyed, but no-one died then.

  • Glad to hear i was wrong!

  • So am I, but you're right, this is not without risk, I'm amazed and happy no-one was severely hurt up to now!

  • This is so motivational.

  • Nice experience.I wish I was there sailing with them.

  • you need to get a life

  • Holy crad...I'm inspired.

  • i race dart 16 and 18's i want to race a trimaran in about ten years

  • that looks like SO MUCH FUN!! ahh, i cant wait to go to lake Michigan to race again this summer!! (i race flying scotts and lasers)

  • wtf has anyone ever fell of this thing?

  • why would you say that you sick minded little nerd.

  • why do u put that shit on here???? Stop being weird man.........

  • now if I can just get one for my cruising boat

  • Can someone help me paint the hull of my sharpie?

  • if i see your chain mail post 1 more time im gonna give you something to read about you scum.

  • what's the song featured please?

  • That's "Battle Without Honor or Humanity" soundtrack of Kill Bill

  • Forget the footage of the crowd, more sailing action.

  • Nascar sucks ! These guys have BALLS

  • i totally agree i only have raced monohulls but fricking trimerans are so light and THEY literally fly over 7ft swells

  • Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!

  • Modern day sailors are direct lineage to those who lived and died charting the dark areas of the globe.

We've come a long way....but the connection to those brave souls is awesome. sail on

  • great vid thanks for posting it

  • That was as fun as really being there! Way cool!

  • That's a fast ride. Luv it!!
