  • God, this movie is the shit!!! Perfect movie to share with a girlfriend. :p

  • This is a good version of it! I haven't seen this film, but I understand it is the story of two best friends in the UK in the Seventies, and being a kid in Scotland myself at that time, there is no more perfect song to epitomise little girls' dreams! We all wanted to be Julia :)

  • Nice but not got the same feeling as the original, ok though.

  • This is a good later version of the Jacky Lee original.

not quite so cute and innocent sounding though, and

the guitar fill-in has been snipped out.

  • I just watched this film too. Talk about an abrupt ending... never mind that tho-the actor that played Nat is hot!!

  • I love this updated version. Much fuller in sound. Good harmonies. Nice one

  • The original is better....BUT

Try the SKA remix, now we're 40 years older it's kinda catchy and just as cute

  • sorry, but i really like the original version on the film it's slower it's beautiful

  • if anyone gets the mp3 file of this song could u please send it to me i cant find it anywhere

  • sorry...must be the only one that prefers the original, the innocent sounds gone, instead it feels about being competitive and I've not seen this movie..

  • Thanks for uploading this, I just watched the movie and was wondering about this song.

  • @3mmalee this is my exact experience, too. this was a great movie. exhausting at times because it explored such a real human relationship and how two people, even when you care so much about each other, can sometimes not be good for one another.

  • Because a well written song will always shine - the original means is a nostalia trip for people of a certain age, early 70's tv show.

  • I don't know why I love this song so much but I do, I guess it is because
