  • EMFs are real and shields do work, I was suffering with headache & fatigue from exposure to cell phone/wifi radiation. After doing research I discovered Electro-Sensitivity and bought an EMF/EMR shield. I also bought shields for my cell phone, laptop & home and my issues went away! They really work & are NOT expensive. They are imprinted with over 200 frequencies that are harmonious & beneficial to the body. I'm happy to share where I got mine if anyone is interested. Kids are most at risk

  • he is not neutralizing anything.transferring and or discharging is not neutralizing.being grounded to the earth may have some other benefit but does not protect from emf radiation exposure.there are only 2 ways to protect yourself.1.shielding 2. get rid of what causes the emf. there are no magic pendants or anything of the sort that can help

  • @brendanmichaelpix how do you shield?

  • @HappierHealthierYou its all in the word shield .to deflect or block penetration.creating a Faraday cage is really the only option.to make an effective cage one needs to know the frequencies your trying to block.then it must be made from the proper materials and the thickness of the materials are important as well.you need some physics training .ELF is almost impossible to shield and its the most worrisome as it interferes with biological processes down to the dna level

  • @HappierHealthierYou I made 2 comments on this other dummies video.follow the links for some important info.He also sells "emf protection". b.s.!!! the only thing we can do is make the choice that we dont want the biological catastrophe thats coming.these technologies must be eliminated.if not we will be. watch?v=Wb-U9zJHYQ0

  • @brendanmichaelpix i mean i do what i can, i own no phone, computer ect. not even for the reason of emf and elf, for the reason i am happier without them, everyone is they just do not know it

  • Can someone refer a peer reviewed technical paper - journal citation etc. which affirms this 'effect'. All these 'new age' science makes an ordinary scientist feel stupid.

    Height of BS.

12V 'look at that'... 'pinky'... grounded, ungrounded... grounded, ungrounded... Natural earth electricity bringing natural ions... oh c'mon... use this sheet on your jaw and numbers will drop..

Human body at a potential difference of 12V from earth? Yeah come to NY, you'll sparkle your feet as you walk..

  • very poor sound quality!

  • i think emf protection is a must in today's world. electropollution is a real thing.

  • @tskam1 yes > see my first post

  • thanks

  • @Lokivoid i dunno, there have been people complaining about feeling effects of wifi radiation, and imagine being exposed to it over really long periods of time..i don't think it's especially good. but what do i know..u maybe right, im not gonna risk it though.

  • Criticism without investigation is the height of all ignorance :P

That being said i just made a makeshift version of this and I feel great lol.

  • es-uk info/

    electromagneticman co uk/

    magdahavas com (Canadian website)

    mobilewise com

  • Electro-Sensitivity (ES)

Electro-sensitive people suffer from a variety of symptoms in close vicinity to electromagnetic fields, Wi-fi, mobiles, DECT phones, baby monitors, certain light sources etc: Headaches, Speech problems, dizziness, chest palpations, tinnitus, pressure in the ears. sweating at night. skin irritations, pins and needles in the hands in the mornings, short-term memory loss, nauseas, joint aches and pressures at the back of the head as well as in the sinus or forehead area.

  • Even if you are not ES yet, it is beneficial to turn off your Wifi over night, as well as to ban electrical items, your cordless phones and mobiles from your bedroom. You will sleep much better and are less likely to have an interrupted sleep pattern. Usually waking around 4 am.

  • Another simple test is to stop carrying your mobile on your body (chest or trouser pockets). in many cases people experience the so-called “phantom text messages”. This describes a situation where every now and then you think you had a text message, when keeping the phone in your pockets, but when you checked there was no message. Some even suffer from heart palpitations. If that is case, just try for a while to carry your mobile in a bag or switch it off, while you have it in your pocket.

  • First off grounding your self turns will cause you to absorb more not shield you from it. How correct EMF shielding works (not this bullshit newage hemopathy crap) is a faraday cage is constructed around the location you wish to shield and it is ground is tied to the ground. the function is purely to shield from cross interfearence or white noise generation. plus the fact that there is no peer reviewed evidence telecom freqs have any real effect on humans (translation its Psuedoscience).

  • @Lokivoid so what do you recommend instead?

  • People fall for all sorts of shit nowadays.

  • It's great to be grounded, but the people from Powerwatch UK recommend against having your feet on a grounding mat whilst using a computer. The reason for this is because any electrical equipment will be looking for a path to the earth, and you will become that path. It is probably best to earth at the point of mouse mat.

  • @tregglekid what on 'earth' is wrong with that lol you either have it or you don't

  • GREAT VIDEO. Thank you man :)

  • My charge is over 100....but I'm getting beamed.

  • David, I am most interested in doing this. I have a volt-meter but for the life of me can not figure out how you are hooking it all up in order to check ones voltage and then to do so with ground. Can you, for this old man, tell me in plain english how to do that? Love your videos.

  • @dgrendahl Put the dial of your volt meter on DCV 200m, touch the black wire to a grounded water pipe, or use an adapter to put it into a ground plug (the third prong hole on a receptacle). Hold onto the red wire end, so the black is grounded, and the red you are holding. That will show you. Then if you touch the grounded pipe with your hand, it should drop to almost zero because you have grounded yourself.

  • I have a grounding mat and a grounding rod with a chord running outside and started feeling very buzzed and often got flu-like symptoms afterwards. I am EMF sensitive so I bought a Trimeter to measure the EMF's on the grounding mat. The grounding mat EMF's were in the hazardous area so I stopped using it and stopped recommending it. Wrote to earthing.com and they knew nothing about the Trimeter measurements.

  • David is using a crappy meter. You need to use a True RMS multimeter. His 12 volts are a little excessive. 500 - 1500 mVolts is a lot. I get that range from my Wifi and electronics on my desk. When touching the grounding mat, I get 1 - 8 mVolts (milli Volts).

  • @a98pelle Why not use a EMF / ELF Meter which measure electromagnetic field radiation levels from fans, electrical appliances, wiring and power lines? I looked up the RMS multimeter and it seems like it has more bells and whistles... I am interested to learn more so if you can reply, I would appreciate it.

  • @a98pelle What do you think of this EMF video by "ZenFood" and the meter used? For ages I have wanted to do this. I got a grounding cord yet I want to get a meter to confirm it works. Any thoughts are appreciated.

  • Did anyone try this multimeter experiment? In the version that I performed, apparently my meter didn't show any AC or DC potential drop between my body and ground. On a different and rather humorous note, 12V potential difference was a bit shocking! If that is the order of potential someone could develop, well... then there's a lot you could do just by your body electricity e.g. play my electric piano (it's 12V) :P, or jump start my car (12V) of course if you produce high current too.

  • Thank you David - very much appreciate your information. I got the grounding pad and immediately felt better, slept better...it was great.

  • what kind of stone does he wear around his neck?

  • @PineGroveBird looks like either jade or aventurine :)

  • The person who said that was not promoting any products

  • AHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA

  • "At no time should you do as they say and either use any length of some unshielded wire, or choose their plan 'B' to connect to the ground plug of house wiring as an alternate ground-- because the house wiring acts as the same kind of antenna you are trying to avoid."

Quotes taken from a curezone thread which can be found by googling "sleeping grounded" and its title Gimmecks

  • "To hook up to 'any' unshielded antenna-like wire in the modern 'r.f.' age could be a telling study as to what kind of ill physical and psychological mental health problems could result-- I shudder to think what such a direct connection could do to people..."

Can anyone comment on those quotes?

  • @Kawigreen Yes there rubbish.. ppl trying to sell their product over the original Clint Ober sheets and pads come up with that stuff!!!

  • Comment removed

  • "any wire has a potential for also acting as an antenna and picking up all kinds of stray radio frequencies and thereby severely disrupting the sleep and well being of a person... There is a reason why all video cable wiring is what they call "shielded". There is a braided wire just underneath the outer jacket of the cable that is tied to a ground and then a separately jacketed inner copper wire that is totally free of stray static and free of any antenna-like picking up of signals."

  • how do you get that white wire that is extending the grounded part of the 3 prong outlet? i want to try this w. my voltmeter.

  • Grounding has made a massive difference for me and my wife who is very electrically sensitive. And it doesn't have to be expensive - grounding bands work just as well as the full bed sheets. We got our kit from groundology. com

  • I was at the Longevity Conference in March 2010 and was ABSOLUTELY AMAZED by this technology! This video is incredible and I'm excited to own my own grounding pad and grounding sheets! Thank you for sharing!!!

  • BTW, for anyone wanting to experiment very inexpensively with earthing, buy a cheap grounding rod, some copper or silver wire and a grounding strap. Use it throughout the day. Probably will cost you less than $20USD. Draw your own conclusions. If it works for you, spread the word.

  • @philumber You suggest getting a grounding rod, copper wire and a grounding strap. Would the first two things be accessible at a hardware store? How do we install the grounding rod? I am guessing it would be in the ground so would we need enough wire going from the place outside to the room we will be in? Thanks for your help.

  • @philumber have you tried your suggestion??? I just would like to know if it works. Thanks

  • Very rarely do I lose my cool on the anonymous Internet, though you act as though I'm trying to sell you something, instead of merely spreading the word. Coming from a proponent of beneficial iodine, much less super charged, your insolence is ever more astounding. Ionization and iodine are in fact very interrelated. By all means, open your mind to the possibilities and draw the lines yourself. My time has worth too. Later.

  • Problem with anions is a short half-life, meaning one needs contact with them for significant periods for substantial benefits to occur, hence the idea of grounding yourself during sleep.

  • I tried this exact setup as well and got a 0 reading not sure how else I can test this. I work at my computer all day long so would really like to know how to test this

  • I tried this with my voltmeter too, using the exact connections David shows here - no readings whatsoever... 8-12 volts seems inordinately high.... thats a lot of voltage. Not sure I believe this...

  • @bobbyamin you and me both

I think this works more like a static discharge or a double ground so am not convinced either

  • @HerbsPlusBeadWorks Medical science has conditioned us to believe only in expensive patentable treatments as the answer. Meanwhile the earth, as a major source of anions, freely distributes healing charges through us while absorbing potentially harmful cations back to ground. The decrease in inflammation, cortisol and other biomarkers have been measured using thermography, spectragraphs, darkfield microscopes and other tests.

    spacedoc.net/Earthing_The_Most_Important_Health_Discovery_Ever_1

  • @philumber I agree with you I do alternatives as well and see results but with this ---not really sure I trust this --the facts and the fiction are to intertwined here

would need to see more back ground onthis to see if this is real or real entertainment

  • @HerbsPlusBeadWorks Doctors would never recommend something costing pennies per day, much less a freely distributable non-taxable solution. Yet these same hospitals and clinics use negative ion generators to reduce germs in the air. NASA has performed plenty of studies on the harmful effects of deionized air away from earth’s magnetic field. For decades, they have been using negative ion generators to aid recovery after long spaceflights. This is not a 'new' discovery.

  • @philumber This is not the issue here---the issue here is this credible---the jargon you are saying is understood---what I am saying here is that I am not convinced this is accurate either

nothing more or less so til I see more credibility here I will reserve my right to have validation[[that's the way I roll

  • "In our studies we found the most beneficial health results of grounding were achieved at levels below 10 millivolts." - Earthing Institute.

I didn't see the reading get below 100 millivolts (maybe once). Am I reading the voltage meter wrong or something? Or is the resistor in this product not allowing true ground connection? I'd love if someone could clear that up for me.

  • Hi, I repeated this procedure. I only get 0 readings. My volt meter is ok I can measure outlet volts.

How I did this: the Earth - copper - black + me - red

    Nothing!

    Any ideas? Tnx

  • the tester you are using doesn't confirm that your socket outlet it connected to earth. it is showing that the earth and neutral are connected through the E-N link at the main switchboard, and the the phase/neutral polarity is correct.

to test the earth connection you should disconnect the main earth wire and main incoming neutral and test the resistance with an earth loop impedance tester.

i agree the pad works, no proof here that the earth wire is actually connected to ground though.

  • Great proof!! I believed before, but now I believe even more!!!

  • I have EMF sensitivity ("Environmental Illness") and I've been grounding for a few months now; I'm writing from Panera bread and I'm surrounded by computers, but as long as I stay grounded, I'm okay.

    It's real!

  • Thanks David for being so generous and loving:)

  • dude! awesomeness

  • very cool demonstration! great reminder for me to get on my grounding pad :)
