  • where can i find this song? did they ever record a full version outside of this movie?

  • Thankyou I adore this magical movie and this sequence is pure gold dust

  • Can someone tell me whether he's playing Big Bill Broonzy's Martin 00028 or is the fact that they both have that inlay on the head just coincidence?!

  • Not sure, but I know Davy Graham played the 000-18, it was his favorite guitar

  • james fox just looks the cats gonads in this... only narrowly beaten by how he looked in 'performance'.

  • I wish there was a more full version of this

  • he´s totally underrated.

    great film.

    the 60´s are back.

  • SRV got inspired from this guy, you can just hear it.

  • its more obvious with jimi page

  • @anonymouslolxD Page got inspired from this guy too

  • I'd love to make an appearance on a film like Davy did. I wouldn't like to be an actor but to star in that sort way with me playing my guitar I'd love that. But Davy has sadly passed away I'm shocked. I saw it in a magazine today. RIP man.

  • Great clip... any other versions of this song out there?

  • bob dylan does on a soundtrack and old crow medicine show do it called wagon wheell

  • Davy Graham RIP 15/12/08

  • The Servant - dir. by Joseph Losey.

  • coming up to his cold apartment at the end, not a happy bit... feels dark, yeah.

  • Brilliant, Davy Graham & James Fox!

  • great clip from a very great movie. Man, the early sixties looks like post war era Britain from this clip. The whole scene looks totally different by the time Fox starred in Performance. Davey's really cool all the same.

  • Yes, but that's partly because the film was shot in black and white. If it had been filmed in colour, as "Nothing But The Best" (made the same year) was, it would look less old-fashioned, and closer to the world of "Performance" (which was only shot five years later).

  • helluva movie. very dark. thanks.
