Can you help me please? I have figured out how to use the beat repeat, but i want to program it on my trigger pad. I have an akai mpd26 and I want to do what skrillex does with his m'audio trigger finger when he plays live. I can't figure it out on how to set it up, plus when I plug it in, I cant find the trigger pad on ableton. I do search plugins and live devices, but nothing happens. can you help me please?
Thanks dude i was just playing around with beat repeat and auto mapping and didn't thought about sticking everything up into a EFX Rack...now I did thx to this vd. Merci +
Is there a way to switch between mappings? I mean like... you know I select an effect and the same knobs kontrolling them in ableton, then in some way i change the effect and kontroll it with the same knobs? is there a solution in ableton for that?
Thanks for the vid. You mention mapping Repeat to a button too... how can you set it to enable/disable by holding down/releasing a button on the APC40 instead of pressing the button twice? Can it be done without any extra software?
@melull Yea, that is one of my biggest gripes with Live, they need to improve the mappings to allow a "gate" mapping, just add it to the mappings browser, come on! There is no direct way to do it with Live, With Max 4 Live you can, I have an envelope I made that can do what you are asking, check it out at Mod4Live.com, a lot of work for a simple thing if you ask me. -L
Loudon, what a great video! Such a useful DJ trick and so easily explained. I love Led Zeppelin and I'm shoked with what you've done with their's Dancing Days song. The effects suits the song so good, you should make a remix with it. 'Cos this is Awesome!
