GTAIV Custom map object with fully works collision and materials

the map is freaking amazing. Please, can you tell me what tehnique have you used for creating the road on that terrain ? cause i`ve been searching for a way to do it and i found none. Thanks in advance!

@OmPlictisit I used method with path deform modifier. You can find tutorial on gtaforums :) For the terrian I created it by polygons and edit vertex positions. :)
