You are probably my favorite "male-only-part" person ever! I love singing this with you. I just have to stop singing right when it gets to the vocalizing part because I've tried to sing that part too many times and am almost positive that is what caused me to lose my voice. I wish there was some way I could put in either Sarah Brightman's or Sierra Boggess' voice at that part. I just love this song so much and have always wanted to post a video on here, but haven't b/c of how odd it would sound.

Grrr... wish i still had my webcam so I could cover this. I tried doing a just audio recording, but all my computer can record for sound without video is a Wav format and it sucks -_- distorts the sound way too much. So glad I found this. This is the only just male vocals recording I've seen of this piece.

@Dious33 Ah, I bet it sounds wonderful anyway. I've always had a preference for the bass-baritone tone and voice. I wish my voice weren't so damn high pitched lol. Oh well. Thanks for the comment! And by the way, I'm singing this differently and with harmonies like I've seen in some productions. So, it's much higher than usual in harmonies.

@AriRoobn In the original broadway CD and old sheet music I have they sing it in harmony. That's the version I grew up with. In the movie they didn't sing in harmony (probably because they weren't as good as the broadway singers) and that's why all the new sheet music you find they don't have the harmony.

I'm singing this in school with a guy who isn't normally a tenor, but is pretty awesome. You sing very well, by the way.

But just one thing: There aren't any harmonies. The point of that is to say that they are one. That's why they're doing these in unison, and not in harmonies.

@AriRoobn I'm well aware that the mainstream version post 90's had no harmonies. However, there have been many renditions of this song that include the phantom doing the harmonies. It's musical theater, it changes... often. I can tell you that the harmonies I've sung in this rendition have been done by even Michael Crawford himself in the past. In any case, thanks for your input. Let's drop this one, it's getting old :P

@LittleMissCD There are many versions and lyrics to this song, just FYI. Take a listen to the Duet that I did of this song with Futurebelle. There is no such thing as "wrong" lyrics... there's are several broadway versions and a movie version.
