Why do you want to keep the fanblades?
if you keep the fan blades, try to build a wind tunnel in a circle so that it wont make so much air resistance.

Free Energy is real but the coverup is strong, if you are interested in a REAL free energy machine then
just search for the LT MAGNET MOTOR in the youtube video search , it is probably the ONLY working magnet

since the armatur's are wound on its side,
it seem that the magnets should be put on where the blades are. i might give this a go.
