Looks terrible!! The CLS from 2010 looked just fine! Why would they change that sexy CLS shape?? If I were Mercedes I would have ONLY changed the front which looks nice, but NOT the side and definitely NOT the back!!! Unfortunately huge grill does not fit at all to this model. They try to make all models bmw-like, with sharp lines. So wrong!. CLS was a different story and now what? Also tail lights were better in the first model. Vision CLS with custom cherry color with bright soft skin inside and glass roof forever!

Most of these idiots don't even know the grille on this CLS and the SLS are a homage to the 1950 sl gullwing. Talk about returning to their roots. I own an S Class..and while it is beautiful & wonderful WHEN it is working..it has also cost me thousands in repairs..while my friends in their Lexus & Infiniti's are not spending all this money to keep their equally luxurious cars going. Once, the MB silver star meant quality..now it means huge repair bills. Fuck it, my next car will be a Lexus.

This is anything but a good ol merc. New c, e, cls all of them are terrible designs. I'm a die hard fan of mercedes, but its doing very wrong moves nowadays while its rivals audi and bmw are enchancing the design of their models day by day. For ex how much new E's do you see nowadays after w211, so few for me. The new 5 series will rule in this segment.

The original CLS is what set this whole futuristic/evoluntionary design off in 2004 looking way ahead of its time and even today it still looks 'futuristic' and BMW and Audi took design ques and implemented them into their models. When this comes out in 2011/2012 it will fit right in and supersede the old CLS, just you see.

Interior is world-class, exterior is also visually stunning, but the lines and character of the car are not anywhere near as elegant or graceful as the current CLS.

This car will have more road prescence and curb appeal than the current CLS, but the current CLS still had a more attractive design. Same thing happened with the new w212 E-class versus the w211. Mercedes no longer makes designs that you can fall in love with; they just make designs that stand out whether you enjoy them or not.

There are a few things wrong about this car. One is that it looks gorgeous but those rear lights look wrong. Second is that the body doesn't look coupe-ish any more. Third, the interior is nice by why carbon fiber? Having vulgar carbon fiber on a 4 door mercedes is like going to a dinner wearing baggy jeans and a hoody. It's rubbish. No class at all. Mercs should be dignified and business-like. Leave the douchbagness or cockness to BMW sport coupes.
