It makes sense for him to scream like a girl. He's in agony, because of a painful longish transformation (unlike certain films where the "transformation" is less than 20 secs, grrrr). It's more realistic that way :) After all, his innards are shifting. I'd scream too.

Aw so this is the UK version...I think I prefer the US version though. First of all the characters look better, second the US version of the werewolf is a good blend of human and wolf not like a big fluffy puppet in this one, third I think the transformation of the werewolf in the US version is better(they kind of took to much time with the transformation, to much cracking not enough transforming)

@MrMichaelll123 I'd try the US version as well. Objectively, I find the UK version to be a little campy at times, but you definitely come to care for the characters. I like the way the US version introduces the characters in pilot and their development from there. It also offers a killer soundtrack.

They're both quality series, (and I find that most blatantly negative comments for either show stem from geographical preferences) so I say to each his own.

Well, if anything the BBC version is on PAR with indie theater Shakespeare stage productions versus the smooth gloss of the Syfy. I'm forced to watch the Syfy because the UK version killed it's vampire in a disgraceful manner, trying to say it was merciful, so all post characterizations of the ghost and werewloves is a whitewash/dismantling. Otherwise, first 3 seasons rocks better then the Syfy version, which has it's universe and story structured better. Just the acting and production SUCKS.

I've seen both versions, the first season of BBC version and the first(and only) season of syfy version.

The heart needs to be larger to produce more blood to sustain the now larger liver, lungs, kidneys, pituitary gland, adrenal gland, brain, etc... His lungs are now drawing in more oxygen to be carried by the bloodstream, the heart is now pumping between 10 and 20 ounces of blood per minute while he is in his werewolf form, and the brain is functioning on a higher frequency

I don't know if you realized this but the trailer sized husky doesn't retain human qualities when changed.
