  • hi i just brought this unit ,, it is not installed yet, i have a 2006 chevy, impala LTZ. will i loose my steering will functions? my family said it wasn't a smart buy, because of the lack of steering wheel functions,,, please reply

  • @MeUAndLiqour

All you need is a steering wheel control interface. You would need this with any aftermarket radio, though some radios aren't compatible with the SW adapters. Don't worry, your AVIC-F900BT is compatible with Crutchfield item 127SWIPS, $69.99. You can order it from the Crutchfield website, or give us a call at 800 315 0030.

  • Ok i have a few questions.

    1) Will this work in my 2000 Honda Civic?

    2) When having satelite radio or gps do you have to buy other adaptors in order to have these things, or is you buy this and its already there to use?

    Thanks for the help.

  • Hi Pimpinsol,

The Pioneer F900BT is being replaced by the X910BT. The 900BT is no longer available. However both models should work just fine in a 2000 Honda Civic. The new model will be on Crutchfield in the upcoming weeks.

In either case, to have satellite radio, you'll have to add an external tuner, either hidden under the dash or a plug n play on the dash. GPS is included inside of both the old and the new model.

    Hope that helps

  • Thank you, thats exactly what I was looking for.

  • How much is an MSN subscription?

  • Soaper,

According to MSN Direct you get a free trial for three months, and it's $50 bucks a year after that, or a one time charge of $130 for life.

    Hope that helps,
