Wante to let you know that you also need to flip the meter switch to Ip so you can see the plate current. You already know about the band switch I guess. You got to have it switched to the right band or you'll kill the amp for sure. Did you ever get it working? I wish I could come down there and show you how to tune it. It's not too hard but you really got to look at the manual and follow the directions or else you can burn it up real fast. Good luck!

the selector switch on the amp is on "AUX" most cases for 10 meter. it should have been on 80 meter...lol

problem is at 240 flip switch to 80 meters lol we all get that way some times

Looks like this guy has the 811H amp on 10 meters (AUX) and the radio on 80 meters. No wonder he can't see the plate current meter move. DUH !
