  • I was stationed at Cedar from Dec04-Nov05, 119th CSB.. who was there??!!

  • I was at cedar as well 05-06... Spend most of our time up towards biop and anaconda... I hated it when it rained there.. atleast we had trailers towards the middle of the deployment..

  • C 18/ C132 with 1-121 FA Wisconsin

  • it would flood pretty bad in cedar and by it, rainy season, gotta love it

  • "Crust Mud" as we called it.. will get you every time.

  • Even though it is an old crap truck, but it seems to have lots more traction than alot of other trucks i had seen stucked.

  • Just missed you, then. But I was there in July 06, in Scania.

  • Just outside MY home for 15 months.

Of course I never saw this but every four months. Stuck in the MWR all the time.

  • I was at Cedar back in June. Were you there?

  • Was at Cedar MWR June 05 through Sept 06. Ran the MWR in Scania from Oct 06 through May 07 when I left.

  • Looks very familiar. I was at that same location. Check out my book "Road Hunter in the Land between the Rivers" which describes my tour in Iraq.

  • There isnt, I hit a saltpan near the end of Cedar road (left and behind the carpet shop if exiting cc2) ... sank my 1114 in to the axles

  • Yep, that mud there can get pretty bad!! Of course the local Iraqi trucks are crap to begin with!! I'm surprised, though, because there isn't much rain in July
