The video isn't honest about the economics around solar energy. If you want to pay for the satisfaction of producing green energy, get enjoyment out of the system then that's fine but don't pretend the system will pay for itself anytime soon. Most systems you're looking at 15 to 20 years break even point.
@gpguy2 That's not entirely true. The systems these days are paying for themselves in around ten years now. And keep in mid that you will be paying for that electricity one way or another. They also set the lifespan of these systems at 25 to 30 years but that is only due to the warranty. These panels will produce power for 50+ years. You will most likely have to replace the inverter before then but you will most likely be paying much less for then when you do eventually have to.
@clgrayson1 If you want to get a more honest portrayal of what it is like to have a solar system I would suggest searching youtube for the Alaska Solar Tour. Most were given a choice between spending over $40,000 to have power brought in or going another route.
I cant believe that we humas have wasted all of this time without the use of the free energy from the sun !!!!
only now every body in the word is thinking the same solar energy is the answer !!
the barrel of petroleon has to reach over a $100 dollars for people to know that solar is part of the answer to the energy crisis !! and we call ourselves the more intelligent beings in the word!!!
What a great video! Great presenting! Thank-you very much for sharing that. I feel my views are similar to yours when it comes to this kind of stuff. Feel free to drop by and post a comment on my YouTube as well I am new here and could use a little help!
Unlimited Energy!
you will need:
cat
buttered toast
1.Attach toast butter side up to the cats back.
2. Toast always lands butter side down and cats always lands on feet. cat/toast assembly spins forever never touching floor.
3. attach generator to assembly- unlimited energy.
4. thumbs up!
