totally agree dude. it's like half the time shonda rhimes knows what she's doing, and half the time she's drunk on the job.

and some of the situations in this show are just moronic. cutting a patient's LVAD? the chief of medicine ignoring a DNR and somehow avoiding being charged with battery? constant sex in the on-call room?

i like grey's anatomy and everything, but i prefer to skip scenes like these. there's a reason this show is ridiculed in the medical profession.

@jakeisawesome91 Absolutly, I loved season 1 becuase it was more realistic in showing the pressures of new interns. They were scared , unsure and willing to learn from senior docs. But then season 2 comes along and this show turns into a unrealistic soap. Like you said Chief ignores DNR, Izzy cuts LVAD and the rest of the moron team helps her. They seems to completly ignore medical ethics in this shows. I stopped watching the show after season 2 becuase it just became to retarded.

I recently began re-living my obsession for this show (the earliest seasons only, mind you). I stopped watching Grey's Anatomy and didn't buy the DVDs after Season 4, and I'm glad I did because I hear the show is a complete mess now.

But these were the glory days, truly... Katherine did such amazing acting in her storyline with Denny. Despite all the Alex/Izzie fan craze, I sincerely believe that Denny was her soul mate, through and through. This scene solidifies that amazing love.
