in a day and age where a thirteen year old white kid from the 'burbs can be guaranteed a black belt if his mother keeps up with the bills, you can file his martial arts 'achievements' with everyone elses'
@ChasingProductions1 respect for what? an actor? someone who more than likely never had to be in a real fight that wasn't either sparring or pushing over a drunk?
@GroddGuerrilla I fought him in 1982 I was 5-2 and knocked out my last three opponents before I fought him. He has throws one of the prettiest straight rights I've ever seen. My trainer asked me can't you see he's hitting you with that right hand? HELL yeah I can see it I have the best seat in the house. I just couldn't stop it. I knocked him down in the first round he got up an beat me the last 4 rounds of our 6 round fight. You shouldn't let envy get in the way of his accomplishments
@ChasingProductions1 I fought him back in 1982, he is one of the nicest guys I ever met. And yes he is 100% badass. Tell GroddGuerrilla that envy is one of the 7 deadly sins. If you know him tell him I said Hi. And yes my channel name was my ring name. I'm pretty sure he remebers me.
he's a 5th degree black belt not a 7th. the man's a sell out that milks young talent to make money for himself. he was once great kickboxer, but is anything but a master
i used to work for the guy. wen he was a 5th, he took a trip to vegas and mysteriously came back a 6th. 3 years later, he did the same and came back a 7th. he's full of shit
@getxyourxkillxon he wasnt great, he was the greatest of his time. i have seen many of his fights and the man was amazing. got k.o's with crap you never even see in fights anymore. and just in case you didnt know dumbass, you can get belted based on your level of knowledge and practical ability (and he had both) in jiu jitsu a man got his black belt in only 3 years by winning all the tournaments around the world, his name is bj penn. and before him it was normal for it to take 10 years to get it
@drywallfreak i used to work for the guy so i'm speaking from a first hand experience. not from shit ive read in magazines and the internet. got anything else other than a Bj Penn reference?
@getxyourxkillxon yeah, i know the guy, as i fight for him. you said he's full of shit and said his martial arts status should be in the "whos gives a shit box". this whole thing is based on his ability, not personality. so sticking to the parameters of this conversation, he was a true badass, and is a master of kickboxing. you make it sound like hes just another tkd black belt acting tough...his record is like 96-4. say what you want, when it came to fighting, he wasnt "full of shit".

I always liked a little humor involved in training, I wonder if anyone will entice him to kick some more arse in film.
