The jet is for me the perfect size phone. I dont want a friggin brick in my hand. Sadly it doesn't run Android thats why its laggy. Please samsung make a 'droid version of the jet!!!

This phone is crap. There are almost no apps available because of its OS. When you slide through your photos, the screen does not react immediately, horrible. Additionaly, when I unboxed the phone, it had serious technical issues such as defect speaker and GPS which they could fix after the third service!!! I sent a complaint letter, Samsung never replied. The phone is bad, Samsung's Technical Service and Customer Care is bad, everythins is just bad that is in any relation to this phone.

@blixz08 The S8000 is English and does not have Arabic as a possible chosen language where as the S8003 does.Don't worry i was very confused about this at first.Oh and the S8003 does not have GPS for the UK (I Think).

it dont have a stylus but you can use it. I would not "update" to jet if I had a 5800. I had nokia 5530.. my girlfrind have the jet.. jet dont impress me other than quality feel and screen size.. 5800 with kinetic scrolling update and skyfire does almost every thing better than the jet.. speakers on the jet suck.. and I dont lke the menu.. it is also a fingerprint magnet.. hard to see the screen quality with lots of fingerprints..

Been stuck between Samsung Jet and Sony Ericsson W995... Not sure I want touchscreen. I've had Samsungs for 5 years running now and all have been solid except my last (Samsung F400) which packed up 3 months shy of upgrade day so I've had to use an old Nokia for a while.

After the premature F400 breakage (Kept turning off and NEVER had a signal), I'm feeling off with Samsung.

The eternity is far inferior than the Jet. The jet is the closest to a smartphone anyphone can ever reach. It is not a smartphone, but it has wi-fi and apps capability. The eternity is "just" a phone. the jet can do way more. It is somewhat the little brother of the Omnia 2. They are similarly design. Omnia i910 don't even stand a chance with the Jet.

I would for the Omnia i8000. The jet and the Omnia i8000 are designed the same way except they run on different os. The Omnia i8000 falls under a smartphone waiting for Verizon to adopt it.
