No offense, but this movie is obnoxious. The original version is a thousand times better-better characters, better songs-I mean, come on, classics like The Island of Misfit Toys, We're a Couple of Misfits etc! And great, quirky characters like Yukon Cornelius and the Abominable Snowman. I cringe every time I watch the 1998 version. It's corny and overly sentimental, the characters are flat and the songs aren't half as much fun. The old version is classic material-don't mess with it!

@CHCHuser I wouldn't make it. But like I said the characters are flat and the songs are dumb. Perfect hollywood material, of course, with the fated love story and the crappy, sentimental love song, the villain who finds goodness in her heart, blah blah blah, and the corny ending, the cringe-worthy 'be yourself and follow your dreams yada yada' message. Sure, the original is like that too but subtle and dignified about it, someone actually put effort into making it something everyone could enjoy.

@disneylover797 Yeah, I think the original had effort too. If I was going to make a Rudolph movie, it would be a lot darker. Darker than any other Christmas movie. Plus the villain will not turn good. He/she will stay evil and die evil. But yeah I would to put some subtly into it.

I was looking for it too. It probably got taken off, unfortunately. Probably because of a copyright issue.

I'd buy it if it would be more than once and if others would watch it with me. But my family's outgrown movies like this.

I like it because I remember watching it when I was waiting for my mom to finish work. She worked at an elementary school and I would help out with the kids. I watched it with the kids that Christmas. :)

This is my favorite part of the remake(2000s version) of the movie. I forgot the exact year it was made, but hey, how could I remember? That was a long time ago and I can't find my video of it! T_T I like both the original and the remake(this one) so I'm not an antifan of either one so leave me out of your fights please. And yes, many fans fight over the original and the remake.
