@CypherAurora how don't you? Just do the stuff several times and eventually it sticks with you. If you don't remember then remember the cheats then atleast.
hey guys i just got this game and im still in the procces of learnin the game, but i have had some problems. In training you have a mouse courser to flip the switches, when i go to play a real mission i try the keyboard combos like E+LCTRL+LSHIFT for the battery switch but noting happens, is there any way to switch on the mouse courser out side of training missions, I can find it in the optians menu any where and the control for helo mouse courser and keyboard doesnt work =(
You don't need to, they should generally always be at the automatic (centre) position. It also depends on what stick you're using. I think the default keyboard buttons though are Page up and Page down.
do you guys think this is going to be a more realistic cockpit than falcon ?? and have more to offer as far as avionics are concerned ?? from what I have seen so far this game looks like its going to make falcon just look stupid as hell,,
Yes, the cockpit is extremelly detailed and realistic. Flight Model too. Go to the forums and check it out. Just google DCS Black Shark (Your post is a bit old so i guess you allready know this is the most advanced flight sim evenr made) :)
Falcon is just outdated now. It was amazing for it's time (and still is to some degree). BS and DCS guys are taking that whole format to a new level. BS is just the first of many integrated planes/choppers that will be used in game.
OCT 17 Russian Release (North America Release about a month after) They're already working on the A-10C expansion and AH-64D apache. So once BS users become aces they'll be able to learn a new plane. Expand multiplayer experience as well!
When I learned this game was only the KA-50, I bashed my head against the desk in frustration. But since there is an Expansion pack for the AH-64, I'm jumping with joy. Woohoo! AH-64!
This game looks insane, definitely not for the casual gamer. Usually I dont buy simulators, I like to jump in the vehicle take off and start blowing stuff up. But after watching these videos and looking at the web site, I am going to buy this game and take my time with it. Also I think I will need to invest in a good stick and throttle.
Dont call it "game" you will upset the sim community ;) its very rewarding to pilot these sims properly. Do simple things in the beginning as learing to fly around etc. When i baught Falcon 4 AF i started in easy mode. 2 days later when i registered to a community they all told me to go 100% realism. If you dont - you have to re learn everything when you do want to go "real". I dont regret that as i now can do most things as its done in reality. Very rewarding indeed.
Guys, I thought the F4:AF startup was long... dear god, and most of the time is waiting for the INS, this is nalmost ALL button pressing. geez...I love it already =D
But how will the sound be? The few sims I've tried tend to be very sleep inducing with the monotone sound of the engine/rotors. Or rather is the real sound in a heli so not varying?
Its so rewarding though to do it the right way and then finish a mission - RTB and shut it down. :) Took me a day or 2 to learn F16 procedure in Falcon 4.0 Allied force. After a while you forget if you dont keep it up though. "hmm radar switch, should i flick it now or later...? oops radar didnt align damnit!" :)
holy fuck, your s's hurt my ears >.<

The game is already out. Release date 18 of October.
But only in Russian. '1c' is the publisher.
I have one, and its absolutely brilliant. The avionics and game physics are just great. 10 times better than anything in MFSX

One of the sims I'm definetly looking forward to.
It has nothing to do with FighterOps though. It shows up in the search engine.

sure makes pressing the "E" button in most sims to start engines seem pretty silly heheh. BRING IT ON!

wicked! but to me as a unused simplayer it's almost scary detail. Takes a week to learn start up alone!

No need to be scared: there will be an easy mode for beginners.
