I have never heard of an incident where free DLC becamed charged awhile after it got released so in answer to your question, these two outfits are still currently free. However, the Deadly Assassin outfit wasn't released in this pack and is sold separately for 80 MS pts. :P

There is no specific herb that's best in gathering for the scrap. However, the most plentiful herb is the WIld Feverfew so expect to pick those up in abundancy. And no survivalist level has no correspondence to the number of herbs or whatever. Herbs are herbs. One herb location is just one herb, you cant grab two herbs from the same location at the SAME time. However, herbs can become larger in value if you collect herbs in America and sell it in Mexico and vice versa.

No, Golden Currant. There's just so much around Beecher's Hope. Get a botanist map to spot them all and pick away. worth 12$ each in Chuparosa and Escalera

It's the best one to pick cause it's abudant, easy to find (theyre quite large) and in a "harmless" spot.

The priciest one is the violet snowdrow, which is worth 18$ each in Escalera but they're barely visible in any light and the spot is filled with grizzlys and cougars.

I Found a new way for people that dont want to takes hours on that...

1. Go in Social Club and Register

2. Go to blackwater bar, save and change ur outfit for the Gentlemen's Attire ( Get by registering on Social Club)

3. Run to the Hotel and go upstair play poker

4. Go all in a lot of time. If you lose, just go on start, then game, then load and load ur game back and do it the numbers of time u need.

5. AND DONT FORGET : WHEN U HAVE LIKE 4000+ chips, quit the poker game and go save.

First off, you have to execute the person, not just aim and shoot. Draw your gun and move up to the person then just press the right trigger and it should a show a little execution cut scene. That's your problem probably. You don't have to collect a particular herb just collect the $ amount needed. You also need to harvest 5000(?) lbs of meat. I forget. You can keep track of these stats under the stats option when you pause the game I believe.

Not really. If you are planning on playing through the whole game with no aim to reach these objectives, I assure you'll get the objectives anyways. Because throughout the whole game, you'll be hunting and collecting plants A LOT. As for gambling, look down at the previous comments which I answered. Just play five finger fillet and bet 100 dollars each time. In 10 tries will you be able to get that objective.

WTF, on the savy merchant outfit, there's a scrap where u have to collect 200$ worth of herbs. I've collected for over 300 now, so wtf am I doing wrong? Or maybe my english sucks, and I don't know what herbs are? (I'm assuming herbs are like flowers, and variable plants etc.)

Assuming you've downloaded the DLC already. Just press start while you're playing Red Dead Redemption to bring up your menu. You should see the options: "Map, Outfits, Weapons," etc. Scroll to Outfits and then a pop up box will show the outfits you currently have or discovered. Scroll through your outfits till you come to the Savvy Merchant outfit and look at the challenges you must do in order to obtain the scraps then eventually the outfit. Hope I helped ya!

I accidently overwritten my 100% save file with a new game file so I 100%'d that file but then my harddrive got corrupted and erased my game files so I'm back on a 3rd playthrough for another 100%. @randomblock I got the gambling winnings by playing poker in blackwater. I just start with 1000 chips and go all in. After one or two rounds, I make everybody bust out, save, play again, runse and repeat.

P.S. It wasn't High Stakes poker and I wasn't cheating.

@khylarain No, you can only keep it as jack, and also if you go to Rockstar Games Social Club and go to unlocks, it portrais John Marston wearing all the outfits, even the FBI Bureau one, which you need to do some stuff with Jack to get.

Now excuse my noobishness here, but it kind of surprises me that John can't get the Savvy and Hunter outfit similar to the FBI outfit etc. Are you sure about that? I looked at the challenges and all the scraps are before Jack meaning John can achieve it as well. Hmm. That's interesting.

Of course you're going to fail 5 Finger Fillet the first couple times but chances of you winning will be like 90-95% if you keep practicing on it which will take about 5-10 tries. Just memorize the button patterns. It's basic video game 101 I think. :/ But if that still proves to be difficult for you, try your hand at Poker. Preferably High Stakes? But you need access to Blackwater which is close to the end before you can play High Stakes Poker so, I'd suggest davidfurigay's way.

No need to fear my comrade. Just master the art of Five Finger Fillet and you will prevail! Haha but seriously, Five Finger Fillet is the EASIEST and FASTEST way to reach $1000. You just have to memorize the button patterns and once you're comfortable with that, always bet $100 with the last guy who's playing Five Finger Fillet and you'll eventually earn the scrap. Don't play Poker or Blackjack or whatnot. That takes too long and it is monotous. :)

to do this go to menu>stats>missions>Lucky in Love" in this mission you will start off with $1000 just go all in (because you cant exit) and the $1000 will not count just go all in if you are lucky you will win and you will have +$2000 the $1000 but the other +$1000 will this is also the easy way to get the high roller achievement. =)

@TheTyler0953 you need to complete all of the "challenges" in the start menu to level ten (hunting, treasure hunter ect.) to get the black trenchcoat with gloves, you dont need to wear it to regenerate dead eye 2X faster though

Press the start button to bring up your menu. Choose Outfits then scroll through your outfits till you get to the Hunter and Merchant outfits. Look at what you have to do in order to obtain those scraps and eventually, you'll get it. ;)
