  • I wanna get this but does it make you hair grow back faster? Or thicker ?

  • @JTuesday777 yeah! a friend told me about it but i was only able to take half my upper lip hair off b/c i hurts and i still haven't gotten used to it!

  • I happen to BE a state licensed, nationally board certified electrologist and I also serve on the executive board of directors for the EAI and am a member of the AEA. So yes! I've spoken to a LOT of electrologists...and dermatologists, endocrinologists and general practitioners. I am a trained professional with the backing of the medical community.

  • @CarolAalund And yet people have been using this product or been tweezing/shaving for years and it doesn't sound like they have had any problems. I know you want to help and want to give everyone the best of your knowledge because you a electrologist, but you sound a little biased to me. And it feels like you just want us to spend money on something permanent and perhaps risky. Not everyone has the money to spend on this procedure, so what are they supposed to do instead?

  • 99 CENTS ON EBAY FREE SHIPPING

  • @Schoolisfriends Yea, I was just about to post before I saw your post that mine just arrived (from China) purchased on eBay. I got TWO of them for 99 cents! Now I have one to travel and one for home. And it works great! Can't compare it to the brand name R.E.M spring as I've never used it, but I honestly can't imagine it working any better for me. And 50 cents compared to the $13 R.E.M spring? Why didn't I find this sooner?!

  • Good song Girl! ;)

  • would this work on hands or feet? (not arms or legs)

  • is it safe to use? and is it worth it?

  • High five. I just purchased one from amazon as well :)

  • How often do you have to use it?

  • can u use it on the legs

  • First I watched this because I'm curious and I did not understand a single word you're sayin coz...You are beautiful I forgot what I am doing.

  • What's up with the sing everywhere? Love the video by the way!

  • Kudos for Beautiful Things :)

  • Yes, waxing, threading and tweezing and this method in a non-hormonally controlled area such as eyebrows, underarms, legs or arms can affect the growth of hair in those areas, causing the hair to grow in finer over time. You can actually pluck your eyebrows into oblivion. I see this every day. If you choose to keep ripping the hair out by the root you may not see the consequences immediately but over time you will and you will probably recall this conversation.

  • I am not a consumer with an opinion on hair removal. I am a state licensed, board certified professional. I have extensive training in this area. You are correct, shaving will not make hair grow in darker, but tweezing, threading and waxing can. Also, yes, a follicle (not spelled folical) CAN be damaged by tweezing, but in a hormonally controlled area the damage is not to the dermal papilla, the damage is that the follicle can become distorted and cause the hair to become ingrown.

  • i got lost in your eyes

  • thanks for this review :)

  • i wonder if this will work for bald-headed guys

  • how often do you use it??

  • Does it grow back?

  • You look classy! <3

    x

  • :O how did I get hear?

  • does it hurt?

  • When the hair grows back, does it grow in thick? How often do you have to use it?!

  • My friend used this on her legs O.O

  • my sister had a machine like that 12 years ago, only that was twistet by an electrical small motor

  • can this product be bought somewhere other than online?

  • @MsSheep7 Not at the moment.. Probably will be at some point. :)

  • I really don't want to get christmas presents from you... ;-)

It hurts and says, that the receiver probably has hair that's visible to you - not the nicest thing to give, don't you think? O_o

Still, the review and demonstration were good! =)

  • @Jemima1377 haha true! but if you knew my family, we are pretty strange and everyone that got one loved it! and those who didn't get one asked me to order for them LOL

  • @xsophiado You do have a strange family. I can`t imagine giving this as a gift especially considering it produces pain, but if they like it then I`d say it is an excellent gift as strange as that sounds.

  • I know u hear this alot. But giirl, you are beautiful!

  • Jessica Alba !!!! :O

  • u look kinda like nicki manaj

  • @tiff4ever101 yeah kinda except not at all lol

  • lol i ordered one for a dollar and no shipping

  • @gllwd Lol yeah I brought one at Ebay for $1.00 and free shipping!!

  • Your gorgeous(:

  • @SuperHellooX aw thanks! :]

  • @SuperHellooX She's wearing make-up, so you don't know that. Also, you can't spell.

  • @NoisemakerArrow, I'm entitled to my opinion thanks, and how can't I spell?

  • Ripping the hair off of your upper lip is the very worst thing you can do. When the empty follicles fill back in with a new hair the hairs will progressively get coarser and darker and can cause adjacent follicles to be stimulated as well. The hair on a woman's face is in what is called a "hormonally controlled" area. NEVER wax, tweeze, thread or use this type of method to remove hair from ANYWHERE on your face. Only electrolysis will safely and permanently eliminate your unwanted lip hair.

  • @CarolAalund makes sense but when it comes down to it, my upper lip hair has never grown any darker and I haven't had any problems. If I had the money I would def be on the laser or electrolysis treatments... maybe in the future :]

  • @CarolAalund Well actually, everytime you pluck a hair out of a folical, the folical gets damaged, which means LESS hair grows back. Why do you think people tell you to not over pluck your eyebrows? Because you'll end up with sparse hair. Thats why waxing legs and bikini areas is a good thing. If you don't want hair, damage the folical.

  • @CarolAalund This is a myth! Just like that shaving hair will make it come in darker.

  • @CarolAalund i think that only happens when you shave

  • @CarolAalund I'm sure you heard all of this from someone who benefits from more people using electrolysis.

  • You are so BEAUTIFUL

  • Does the hair grow back the same or does it come back thicker/thinner etc?

  • @MissAMb18 for me it grows back the same

  • we have the same one heheh that hurts btw D:

  • @MegaMichiee someone gave me some tips and one of them is to ice the area first (to numb it) and it really helps!

  • @xsophiado ooh good idea thanx! i'm going 2 try it....YOUR VIDEOZ ARE AWESOME BTW! :D <3

  • @DabisAlie to reduce pain... Numb your upper lip(and could do this before plucking eyebrows.!) with ice. Put an ice cube in a baggie and just numb your upper lip so that you can't feel it that much

  • how long did took get to u?

    my is taking long-_-

  • hi i just dicovered the epicare last night i purchased 6 of those for £8.00 including delievry i cant wait to try it out

  • thank you so much!! this was extremely useful for me :) ! now to get myself an epistick :D

  • So do you think this will hurt for me if I don't find tweezing and threading painful at all (even when I first tried it)? Or is this thing simply painful at first, no matter my pain tolerance level?

  • Representante no Brasil: IMPERIO TERRA! Fone (011)4231-3066 Vanderlei

  • how did you deal with the pain is there any way to reduce it?

  • @DavisAlie other people have said to ice it.. others have said to place something warm to soften the skin and open the follicles - not sure which works best but I just work through it because it becomes numb for me after the initial pain

  • can someone gimme a lot of thumbs up cuz im her sis lol

  • wow I got mine from ebay for .99 cents with frees shipping!

  • I would ice my face first to make the skin firmer and pores constrict so less tugging=less pain!

  • why this doesn't work for me??weird...

  • it dont leave it smooth-waste of twenty bucks.

  • on ebay its $1 free shipping

  • Thanks for the tip :)

  • Oh thank you well your hair it's beautiful

  • omg i love your hair it looks so healthy what products do u use

  • @opem614 I think I was using biolage shampoo/conditioner back then in this video. I use joico now. Product wise I don't really use anything in my hair.. I just never do anything with my hair (heatwise) :P

  • Will it affect my acne on my face? and how often until the hair grows back?

  • Bought it at Amazon (under $4). Works great. Love it.

  • i bought this product in november and it worked out perfectlyy and i love it:).. til barely rite now i started noticing that i started to break out on my lower chheks and its wierd because ive never had breakouts in that area..i was wondering if it was because of the spring it?.. how long do you have to change it and get a new one?? thanks if yu can help me pliz(:

  • @TheMayraa92 I googled some info:

    1. Bend bar downwards by the handles as shown in the diagram and gently tap out the hair on a flat surface. Bend again in the opposite direction and do the same until all the hair has emptied out.

    2. NEVER leave Epicare damp or wet. This will ruin your Epicare facial threading tool.

  • @TheMayraa92 and I only use it on my upper lip so I haven't had any breakouts. Possibly from an accumulation of oils from your skin are causing the breakouts?

  • kinda disturbing that they designed this to look like a two way dildo.....your mom told me.

  • I have like a butt cheek hair issue , & I've never tried shaving . But I was thinking about threading it with this do u think it would help?

  • @LaChabiie95 I would probably wax. For my face I generally wax... but I use this spring only for my upper lip because it tends to grow back fast even when I wax... so the spring is a good quick fixer for upper lip hair. Probably not as useful for body parts, but I haven't tried so it could work!

  • I dont have it but i heard that if you use a warm cloth and leave it there until its not so warm anymore and then use that so the pours open up easily and it wont hurt much. I need one of those

  • @cutekittenz1 didn't hear about that, but makes sense! I'll try it out :)

  • OOuch it looks painful! but I soo need this, I suffer from HEAVY facial hai and I'm tired of shaving and nasty cremes! :( :( :( booo, im ordering right now! thanks!

  • que video fofo vc é talentosa muito criativa como tem talento e charme é claro

  • it does hurt...but it works!!^^

  • the case is the caseXD

  • I bought mine in a pack of 5 from ebay (some chinese dealer)..it was super cheap and free shipping- and the product was well-made.

But about the product- IT HURTS!!! I use it straight out of a hot shower and it kills! But oh well..all these things hurt..curses for being a lady!

  • is it painful?

  • how long will it take to get to my house i ordered one today

  • does plucking your hair with this make the hair grow back thicker or anything?

  • @superstephanie101 not for me! :)

  • how is it with sensative skin o__o? it wont like make my skin flake or something right? XD could i use it for like unibrow? :O i dont have one lol just asking cuz my right eyebrow grows longer from the left its not noticable i just can when im super up close in the mirror o___o

  • @k1baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa I would avoid using it anywhere around the eyebrows, usually I just tweeze and wax those areas. but upper lip hair grows back fairly fast, so waxing constantly would be expensive :[

but near my eyes i get it shaped/waxed once a month or maybe up to two months. I just tweeze those areas (unibrow area too)

  • THANK YOOOOU XXXX

  • how do you clean it? or get rid of the hairs that is in the hollow tube?

  • so i actually brought this product, i was wondering like. can you still see little hair on your upper lip ? and like, does it get all your hair, cos it doesnt for me :(

  • I bought a lot of 5 from some supplier in China- I paid only a few dollars!! Got them today in the mail- it hurts, but not terribly, I'm sitting watching tv rolling it over my upper lip- I'm thinking after a shower it'll be perfect- I recommend it!

  • u can buy it on amazone , , in the uk there are like no shops that have it , its well anoyoing!

  • How long dose it take to grow back?

  • @ImHappyDidYouNoThat If you are looking for constantly clean results, probably do this once a week, while still using tweezers for those stray ones that grow out >_<. I usually do it when an event is coming up - otherwise i just gently tweeze every so often.

  • it is only £1.99 inc postage first class ebay id 220707603394

  • I just bought one! It's pretty awesome. I just wanted to drop by and tell you that when I was researching it a couple weeks back your video was definitely the most helpful! Thanks!

  • @MyssBlewm I'm glad it was helpful! hopefully you like it! it hurts thought! ><

  • @xsophiado I love it, and yeah it hurts. But the pain isn't as bad now as the first time I used it. XD

  • i went on amazon and found a product that looked just like this called twist-n-roll tweezers for just $4..is it the same thing or would it not work as good?

  • @JayeCee06 If its a spring, it should all work the same! =]

  • Quesstiiooon...is there an original one?? i just ordered mine from ebay for $1.00....and umm...i was wondering if theres any "fake ones" or suomething like that....would it still work the same or...??? r they all the same?....

  • @123abcfu2 did it work for u??

  • does it gives u bumps ? shadows ? marks ?

  • @kaleythao Didn't give me any of those, but it does hurt!

  • Hey, can i ask how's the hair like after growing back? Does it grow back fast and thick or is it fine? And how often do u have to do it?

  • Thanks for this review. I am on Amazon.com right now looking at it and I was wondering if I should purchase this

  • wow thanx! i bought it and its awsome:) p.s. ur pretty(:

  • does it cause a shadow or skin discoloration like waxing does?

  • @123abcde90 i haven't had any problems with discoloration thus far

  • @123abcde90 have u ever tried waxing ur face?? if u have how was it??

  • Hey i was wondering how is the hair when it grows back? darker and thicker? cuz im so afraid to wax or tweeze it cuz im so scare it will grow back thicker so i just bleach it which is good,

just wondering how ur hair grows back

    thnx

  • there is the same version for like $1.50 or something including shipping from hong kong i think. and i was wondering if it is the same product or these are totally fake.. anyone who tried the $1.50 version from ebay, please let me know.. thanks

  • @byakulover i honestly think it'd do the same job as any higher priced spring :P

  • @xsophiado kay. thanks. =) it looks really nice. i currently use threading but its nice to discover new ways of upper lip hair removal.

  • @byakulover i just brought one from Ebay, £2.00

I also have a higher end branded one, i can honestly say they are both exactly the same! :)

  • i want soemthing like this but im soo scared its gonna hurt and im very sensitive

  • on ebay its .99cents w/ free shipping.

  • How fast does the hair grow in while using this product. I am thirteen and SOME of my upper lip hair is dark, not all of it. My mother works at a salon, but I don't want to get it waxed by one of the girls at her work, nor do I want to use bleach becuase I have sensitive skin. I want to try this but I'm scared, how often would I probably have to use it if I decided to purchase this?

  • lucky for me, in singapore, it's selling for like $2? So even if it doesn't work, i'll just treat it as an unsuccessful 'investment' thanks for the review, really helped a lot, i guess i wanna get one now. (:

  • @keonzee hey! where can u get this in spore?

  • you prompted me to buy this.. and it kills !

  • @itsSaffronxx i did mention it felt like ripping my face off the first time! lol

  • I just put this exact one from amazon on my wishlist and i thinkit was like *is dollars!! Awesome! and someone said that they use a little baby Orajel on the area that they are using to numb the pain some. Im very excited to try this and to try the Orajel thing too :)

  • i got this from ebay for GB£0.99 with free shipping

    and it works fine

  • @xxshahzadixx I just bought one from eBay for 99 cents too, today. Your comment is 5 months old, so, within the 5 months how has the cheaper one worked for you? Do you recommend it? Are there any negative side effects? Please answer. Thank you :)

  • @TheMisfits75 i stopped using it because it made my skin break out so much it was unbelieveable, especialy on the areas around my skin became all red and bloody spots, my self esteem was at an all time low, never did a product do this to me before, i cured my spots after 5 weeks of using sudocream- lots and lots of it. i seriously dont recommend this product after a week i stopped using it and now my skin has never been better i just learnt to thread, its so easy and the pain is minimal

  • @xxshahzadixx i meant the areas around my CHIN, not skin

  • @xxshahzadixx WOW....this sounds terrible and I'm very sorry to hear that you went through this. I'm glad that your skin is better than ever, and that you're happy again. No woman should suffer like that :(. But thank you very much for your reply, and I'll be sure to throw mine away as soon as it comes in the mailbox....

  • @TheMisfits75 thanks for the message

when i actually received this it worked fine and my skin was hair free but afterwards it was unbelieveable

anyways glad i could help :)

  • @xxshahzadixx so u thread ur whole face?? does the hair grow back thicker or darker?? and how long was ur face red for afterwards?

  • @JayeCee06 i thread my neck chin sides sometimes i do my eyebrows

because i have a problem with my hormones some of the hair grows back thick but the hair on my sides and my cheeks and neck has gone thinner. oh i thread my upper lip aswell and it doesnt stay red for. it gets easier the more you do it

my face stays red for about 5 to 15 mins

  • @xxshahzadixx hi my name is cassandra and i'm very interested in this product and i just wanna know if it's safe to buy it online if you know what i mean.... i don't want anyone getting into my backaccount... i'd love a respond , lots of love :)

  • @DandaCuteCheeks hi it is safe to buy online from ebay using a paypal account but i dont recommend buying it. its not very good and if u read my previous comment u will get more information on what i mean.

  • @xxshahzadixx i'm sorry i don't wanna be a bother but i can't find your previous comments.. if you could tell me you're an angel:)

  • @DandaCuteCheeks i stopped using it because it made my skin break out so much it was unbelieveable, especialy on the areas around my chin became all red and bloody spots, my self esteem was at an all time low, never did a product do this to me before, i cured my spots after 5 weeks of using sudocream- lots and lots of it. i seriously dont recommend this product after a week i stopped using it and now my skin has never been better i just learnt to thread, its so easy and the pain is minimal

  • @DandaCuteCheeks theres one of my comments i left b4 hope it helps

  • Think this might work on ones LEGS ?

  • @ImportedBarbie i wouldn't use it on your legs lol... way too much surface area = more pain

  • I'm noticing this becoming more of a problem for younger women. I'm starting to think I have had some problems because of a lack of chemical or chemical imbalance in my body. if anyone else has stray hair you may want to try getting that checked out especially if you very moody and have hormonal rashes..a good sign

  • is that made out of a spring or a coil x

  • @f4hm1d4 not sure you what you mean? i feel like both springs and coils are used synonymously, so my answer would be both? lol

  • do u still think its worth buying?

  • @omgitsnaynay i bought mine for less than $8, which I feel that it's worth the price... but I'm looking at most sites now.. and they run around $16.. which is much pricier, and I'd probably stick to tweezers if I'm going to pay around $20 for that :P

  • how do you clean it?
