Do you know if the only way to change the ringer volume is to go to the home and click the sounds icon, or does the side arrow key adjust it? I just bought this and the side arrow keys dont adjust the ringer volume, so just wondering if it works for you?

yeah but I dont know how sprint is gonna play me. u see i have their special SERO F&F 500 plan for 30 bux a month and they have been real strict with their new phones and upgrading. they want you to buy a plan which is twice as much as what i pay now.

I updated my 8330 to 4.5 OS and it's very slow. The Tour has 4.7 OS and a newer Qualcomm chipset. 4.7OS, faster, nicer display, 3.2MP camera. Enough to convince me to upgrade. Put the 8330 on Ebay.

the keyboard is perfect. the keys feel amazing, they have good feedback and travel, but they are not too squishy. It is a joy to type on.

It's seriously awesome. I had the Curve 8330, and as a girl, I felt like my fingernails were always sliding off the plastic keys on the curve. The keyboard on the Tour just feels perfect.

yea but with sprint you have the EV instead of Wifi. Does that mean that if it had wifi, you can only connect near a wifi hotspot? Who needs wifi, use the phone itself to connect lol

I once had the desire to purchase the Palm Pre but after a quick 5min tour of it, I was hesitant whether or not to buy it. For one, it's plasticy. The phone feels very weak and I'm sure if i was to drop it, it would break. Sure, the OS on it is splendid, but i thought the BlackBerry Tour 9630 was so much better. Just my humble opinion. :D

Of course it has internet just as long as your plan includes it. I do believe the Tour is a combination of the Bold and some other BlackBerry so it must be better. I do plan on buying it towards the end of this month (July) so if your patient, i can give you a heads up whether to purchase it or not. Hope i could help.

The tour is a heck of alot fast when it comes to internet. Plus! if you have sprint, the Tour is unlocked. So that means you can use it in other countries. I believe its 180 countries, but not too sure right now. You wont be able to do that with Verizon. There is one flaw, the Tour does not have Wifi. But i dont think I ever used a Wifi phone. I dont think the Curve has one either. Sprint is planning on releasing a Wifi version next year.

its because everyone is used to the way they design their phones and keypads

they actually do make minor changes but not huge ones because were all used to the old functions

as for design they have a flip version and a touch screen

the keypad ones have to be shaped similarly so blackberry users can be comfortable with it and not be like "wtf is this shit"
