the eyes n nose were black socks stretched n glued over cardboard forms i shaped,the more you stretch the more you see through them.then i marked out where the eyes n nose went and cut out the hole in the shape of the forms but cut the holes a little smaller then the forms so that they are pressure fitted into the hole.

about $30 to build.

wrap foamie around box n hold, the tape goes around on the foamie

I have begun constructing the costume based on your instructions. Not as easy as I thought it would be.

How did you get the foam to stick to the cardboard? Double-sided tape didn't work for me, not did duct tape.

I'd say use a staple gun to get it to stay because then there will be no need to worry about it coming apart.

I'm also curious as to how you saw through the Kool Aid costume. Also, did you simply pull drinks through the arm hole and drink them inside the costume?

kool-aid was made off and on after work and stuff...about 2 weeks and the leaf a couple days

these are just bed foamies,the ones with egg carton pattern on one side.you can get them at wal-mart,k-mart,sears etc... but can be a little expensive to just cut them up. i just ask around and got a couple from friends.
